This 5 Panels Decorative Garden Fence with Gate from CHTSJQW is a good looking fencing system. The metal fence panels are powder coated a shiny black and the coating is well done for weather resistance. Once staked down the panels are about 30" with no bottom gap. I set up 10 panels around a stump rock garden and tossed in 12 chickens to test the system and I was happy with the result. The shape you make will determine the sturdiness of the fence and the circle I used worked great to hold the chickens in and keep my 35 pound 2 yo old out despite his best attempts to push it down and climb over it. This fence will not hold back a 150lb rottweiler that is determined to get through it, but it provides ample protection for small to medium sized dogs that can't hop over it. Installing the fence was straightforward and pretty easy, but pro tip, lay out where you want your panels first and then stand them up one after the other to set them up. I was trying to move this around with 8 panels already attached and while it was doable, it was a pain in neck. Decide your layout, lay them down, and then assemble it. I was a little disappointed in the gate latching mechanism. It worked well and is heavy enough that it would be hard for a dog to flip it up, however, there is no way to lock it. It just folds down and a long arm keeps the gate secure. I would have liked to see a eyelet you could put a padlock, carabiner, or clip through to keep it closed. The 5 panel version seems pretty pricey when you can get a 10 panel version for $20-30 dollars more. I got this with a second panel only set and it seems to have limitless expansion potential.

I ordered these fence panels to create an outer barrier around my tomato plants which are in raised beds to try to keep the deer from eating them as much. And they worked out great for that. I had to place them enough of a distance away that it made them difficult to reach, but also not so far away that it would leave enough space inside for them to jump and land in there, but it worked out (I just can't easily mow in there, so it's messy, but weed whack occasionally. The deer can still reach the very outer stems when they protrude enough, but aren't chomping deeper into the plants. The fence panels are a nice tall height, with rounded tops which make it easy to place your hands comfortably on it, very sturdy and strong with thick posts, and you can easily reconfigure the fence any time and any way you want by just sliding the fastener poles that join the panels and go into the ground out of their slots. Since my garden area is in my side yard, it's visible from the street, so it was also nice to see how attractive they look - it really neatened up the area. They are generally very easy to install. The only issue I had is my ground is pretty rocky, so it's hard to get the posts in very deep - I have to move them around to find softer spots, and then used a mallet to tap them in. Even when they're not fully inserted, they hold firmly in place and support the fence. It's very good quality, so I highly recommend it.

I was not expecting this garden fence to be such a great quality product! It is very well made and looks great. It is quite sturdy and heavy enough that wind should not knock it over. In fact I'm pretty sure my grandkids could run into it and it wouldn't fall over. It is very easy to install. It's a nice height at 32in tall and is too tall for my grandkids to climb over but I'm not sure how well it would contain a dog at that height. The way sections go together this fence will follow the surface of the ground. Our yard is uneven in spots and this fence just flows fluidly with the ups and downs of our yard. It is present enough to define your yard space without blocking the surrounding scenery. We were so impressed with this fence that we bought the 10 section set with a gate so that we could fence the rear of our yard in. Great price too! You will not be disappointed in this fence!

Right out of the box this had a very sturdy, weighty feel for being hollow tubing. Powder coated finish is nice and smooth. Only time will tell whether there are missed places that start resting or not. But starting out everything looks great as far as the painted finish goes. I am actually going to be using this around a small sapling that I am planting in my large chicken run to keep my chickens from scratching around it. It will be a perfect height for this use and plenty big. Love that it is expandable should that need arise in the future. All in all a great little fence with a myriad of uses.

The panels themselves are good. They are a good quality, the metal doesn't seem cheap or flimsy. They fit together well and it's easy to put together and take apart. They're easy to store as well because they're flat and just stack together without taking up much space. If you only put one panel in the ground it might fall over, but setting up with 3 or more connected makes it sturdy. They're nice and tall - a good height for a small dog. With that said, I do think 5 panels for $62 is a bit on the pricey side, but functionality-wise, it works. I wasn't able to test out the "no dig" aspect, because nobody was digging!

This fence looks nice, and it was easy enough to install. However, it's super flimsy. It doesn't stay up very well, and it definitely doesn't function as anything other than decor. We tried to put this up for our flower bed to keep our dogs from jumping into it, and we might as well have not had anything there to begin with, it just fell over the moment our dogs touched the fence. Its pretty small. 10 feet of fence decor for $70 really isn't worth the price.
