They sent me a clearly used item with scratches and all the pieces in a regular ziploc baggy. I did not return it because I was leaving for the weekend and needed it, but very annoying to pay full price for something that is used. The product itself is fairly easy to put together but some of the screws were short and should be a little longer. The screw holes are also oval vs circle and don’t line up perfectly which makes it hard to get the screws in in some areas, but I was able to get it. The port holes do seem like they should be a little lower as it is hard for the chickens to get food at the bottom. If you are like me and don’t want to fill it up all the way to promote foraging then this may be a problem. Haven’t had it long enough to say for sure. Otherwise overall a nice design. I do love that they provide port covers to deter rodents as that is a problem around here. ... show more

Once put together, this product is very solid and works very well. There are allot of screws to assemble with however it was easy to put together. I will order another one in the near future as my flock grows.

Looks nice and is fairly sturdy. However I bought because the claim that it would reduce the amount of feed wasted. It did the opposite,I first left 6 caps off but after seeing how much food was on the ground I left only 2 open . In 3 hours a lot of feed was back on the ground. Will go back to old feeders. Pricey for a product that fails it’s claims ... show more

Great feeder with lots of room. Easy to assemble. The only thing is the lid doesn’t fit perfectly when it’s full. We can get almost 2 bags of feed inside. Would purchase again!
