Ordered a CE bc that’s what my daughter’s Algebra class requested and after looking at the product comparisons considered it worth the price difference. Ordered refurbished bc Amazon has always had quality products and with inflation as it is, every dollar counts. No instructions in the box, but not a big deal bc I can find those online. Plug it in to charge overnight so my daughter could take it to school today. This morning it still won’t turn on and notice it takes AAA batteries. Weird, but maybe I just misread and got a battery one. Try to download some of the apps and that’s when I noticed - no CE on the calculator face. And now, of course, the price for a refurbished is up $20 since I purchased it a week ago. Guess I just have to fork over the extra money and buy a new one so that I’ll get what I ordered. ... show more

The screen was distorted and the pads on the back were missing. Plus the calculator was filthy.

Well, don’t trust that refurbished means a working calculator. The graphing part does not work at all! Funny thing, this was returned by someone else to kohls because there is a sticker on it stating that. I’m sure they returned it saying it was broken but it was put back on the shelf to sell. My son needed this by a certain day and now he is without a working calculator and I have to find time to return it. If you find yourself with a broken refurbished calculator, it was probably this one put back in the rotation to sell. ... show more
