Fit my 20 Long perfectly. Was out of stock whenever I placed my order but these style lids are uncommon in my area so I was willing to wait. I was afraid it might not come back into stock, but it did, and it didn't even take very long. Two weeks to a month maybe? The only thing I would say you should know about this tank lid is that the lights that come with it by default are very bright white lights. If that's what you're looking for, then great, you're all set. But personally that didn't work for the deep sea theme I wanted, so I just got some cheap color light bars of my own to attach to it and give it that nice deep blue color. Overall, it's exactly what you'd expect. A bit pricey and hard to get ahold of, but if you've got the time to wait, even if this lid is listed on Amazon as out of stock, go ahead and put your order in. This was easy to put together when you follow the directions but the lights are so bright u had to cover them with black duct tape to tone it down. The picture is with the lights covered.

I purchased this lid with LED lights on 9/9/24. Today is 9/23/24, and the LED lights have already started blinking. I'll dry it off, repackage it, and return it to Amazon. What an inconvenience. Save yourself the trouble and choose a better quality lid. This one isn't worth the money. Buyer beware.

    • It works, just don’t lift it too much

It first pretty well, I would prefer that it was an inch wider on the sides (length wise) but it fits good. The lights are very bright as well which is a good and bad thing. You can’t dim them, at all, and the second day after getting the lid I faced an algae growth explosion due to the bright lights. I remedied this by purchasing a uv light filter which got rid of all the “green” in 4-5 days. My main gripe with the lid is the fact that whenever I open it and go to close it again, the back always sags and gets bound up against the back lip of the tank which causes it to not set back down properly. If it had some supports that ran vertically through the middle, under the optional breakaway section then that’d probably solve the rigidity issue. ... show more
