I bought this tool for the digital readout - the LED display was good and bright and easy to read - it was also accurate < i compared it to a multimeter and the readings were spot on - the alligator clip is of the right design to allow for multiple applications and better connections < unlike the usual tiny clip connectors that other testers come with - i have used this tool on different applications and have now found a very useful tool that does the job of several . Got this to troubleshoot issues on my vehicles after seeing the mechanics using them. This has a big advantage over the regular type because it also shows the voltage of the device. The accuracy was so close to that of a fancy meter that an electrician was using on my truck that I didn't even bother using the fancy meter when testing the battery.

This test light is very different from any I have used before. I checked it against my Fluke meter, and it was right on for the voltage. I am used to using Snap-On testers with heavy duty cord this unit the cord is pretty thin compared and it's not bad for length. I have only tested it for accuracy so far. Time will tell. The grounding clip seams small in size, but it works, and it has a better style some of the other brands out there that can only grip a nut rather than the whole battery clamp that are on batteries these days. It's pretty good for a glove box tester and for my daughters and son in laws so they can check things if a problem arises.
