After I fried my mid-back long hair, I decided to cut it all off and start over. I told my stylist to keep what she could, but we still had to go ultra short. Thankfully, my hair grows pretty quickly, but I found out that my normal 1" flat iron wasn't able to get the small pieces. That's when I decided to order this one. I have super coarse, thick, curly red hair. If I don't apply heat, the hair is super frizzy and difficult to manage. This straightener has been a life saver in getting the little pieces around my ears to lay flat. I like that you can choose the temperature to display either Fahrenheit or Celsius, and that the iron comes with a cute velvet draw close travel bag. The only complaint is that it doesn't feel the sturdiest. The outer material is a lightweight plastic which is great for travel, but it does make me wonder about the overall longevity of the product. With that said, I've had it since October-November 2022 and it's still going strong. If you have short hair and want to try a mini flat iron, definitely give this one a go for the price point! ... show more

It’s easy to use. It worked great on my dense, thick hair. I went with a pixie cut and it was too short on top. (porcupine). This helped me tame it and will be great when it grows out as well.

I like how easy this iron is to use. It is worth the money and a must have if you have a pixie cut or to curl your baby hairs on your wigs. It comes with a travel bag which is a plus. I think its worth the hype and money.
