To be honest, I was a little POed when this filter arrived. Something punched a hole in the box that I found had actually put a dent on the side of the cylinder - I forgot all about the dent but just got POed again thinking about it as a write this! Anyway, I decided there was a chance it happened in transit and I didn’t have time to deal with a return so I got it setup. I dig the black sock for the filter and find it gives a more discrete appearance. My hands did get all black while installing the sock. It seems the carbon was falling out of the filter which I don’t know if was normal or not since this was my first filter install. Hoping it doesn’t crap out early given its price. I’m using a 4” fan to pull air through this 4” filter and it works well to eliminate odor on my grow with minimal air flow, which speaks to the scrubbing quality of the filter. Pleased with the performance even though it came dented (🤬) and is a bit on the expensive side compared to its competitors. I would recommend it for anyone who cares about the look of their filter and wants to eliminate most scent in their small space. ... show more

for a 4" unit i'm impressed so far. my home smelt to high hell within an hour of air out of the home and installation of this unit my home is smell free. I will update at the end of my next grow for quality over time. thank you so far

Very happy with this filter. They all look the same when shopping online so you hope to pick a good one. Included in the box are two washable pre filters and I can tell you first hand it works perfectly!!

Works ok keep CFM at least 50 to 75 below what its rated, or you'll be disappointed.

It works like a charm! I literally can put my face in front of the fan and there is zero smell! Before this filter my whole house smelled! Would purchase again!
