This inflator met all my expectations. It’s inexpensive, so I didn’t expect a commercial-grade compressor. It’s light duty, and the device feels like it. It’s got a plastic case, not very sturdy. I wouldn’t want to throw it in the bottom of a job box. But for home use, it’s sturdy enough. And it works well. The hose folds nicely into the base of the outside case, for storage. The clamp on the nozzle end secures well to the schrader valve stem. Somehow the locking lever is reversed from the bicycle pumps I’ve used; on this unit, when the locking arm is UP, it is unlocked, and when the locking arm is DOWN, it is locked. But no problem, I figured that out pretty quickly. I used it on 3 vehicles the day I got it. Topping up a all four tires on a passenger car, worked great. The buttons to adjust pressure and start filling are easy to use, though, again, they “feel inexpensive”. Immediately after that, I used it to top up the tires on a full-size pickup truck. That worked well too. I did not inflate from zero PSI. Instead it was from 25 to 32 psi on the car, and from 34 to 40 on the truck. It runs for 60-120 seconds or so, until it reaches the desired pressure, and then stops. That’s a nice feature. the unit got a little warm after all that use. Not alarmingly so. I didn’t try it on a bicycle but I suppose it would work great, as long as you have Schrader valves. (If you’re not sure, then you probably have Schrader valves.) Some people commented on the noise that this unit makes. I agree, the inflator is noisy when it is operating. I used it outside, and it didn’t bother me at all. If you were using it in an enclosed space, like inside a garage, it would be noisy enough to prevent comfortable conversation. But not “disturb the neighbors” noisy. Not “wake the baby” noisy. You will need an extension cord if you want to use A/C power. The pigtail cord on the unit is not very long. In summary this is a good addition to my garage. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I seldom give a 5-star rating for any purchase. My old Black and Decker electric pump gave up (plastic nozzle could no longer secure an air tight grip), and based on reviews I purchased this Teromas. It arrived within days, performed flawlessly. First stop as always was the spare tires, which are always low. One spare tire was at 43 psi. It took 3 min 53 sec to inflate from 43 to 62 psi. The normal topping off of 2 to 3 additional psi on other tires took a minute or less. The instructions were well written, but honestly the control buttons were intuitive and easy to figure out without the instructions. Once plugged in and connected to the tire (without pump running), the pump read out the current pressure. Once the desired pressure was set using the + and – buttons and power button pushed, it inflated and automatically shut off when the preset pressure was attained. It weighs about 2.4 pounds, literally can be held in the palm of the hand. I really like the air hose nozzle on the pump which connects to the tire. The outside of the nozzle was metal (old pump had a completely plastic nozzle) and although a little difficult to force the lever down, it tightly secured on the tire without any leaking. Other pumps I have used, sometimes leak 1-2 psi of air if you have to struggled to remove the nozzle. When I pushed the lever up to release the nozzle, the nozzle popped right off the tire with no hiss. I had my phone close to me and the pump with the decibel meter app turned on. It returned a reading of 79 db….about the same as standing next to a vacuum cleaner running. Not objectionable. Per the instructions, it does get hot to the touch if you have to run it for 4 or 5 minutes and make sure you let it cool down and don’t overheat it between inflations. When I started up both vehicles to drive around after inflating cold tires, the tire pressure readout in the car was what the air pump read out. The flashing or blinking of the reaadout you see in my video and others is absolutely NOT apparent when looking at the display. The blinking is an artifcat of the filming process and was surprised when I saw it on the video. ... show more
