  • Beautiful but damage from shipper! Glass breaks easily. Beautiful but damage from shipper! Glass breaks easily.
This stove is beautiful! But unfortunately the Amazon shipper slammed it down on my porch and it broke the glass! So we had to send back and order new. The box was also very damaged so the glass breaking could have been done another time! We then received our new one and used it once and the glass broke. The glass is very thin! ... show more

Great quality and function. May need some heat rap to keep hot tent from touching pipe and to keep bugs out.

  • A robust solution for cooking and heating!
I was genuinely surprised by how sturdy this tent stove is. The overall design is impressive, and I love the versatility it offers. It works wonderfully for not only camping but also in a small shop setting. One of my favorite features is the ability to remove the cooking top, transforming it into a straightforward heater when needed. I also appreciate the temperature gauge, which adds a nice level of control for cooking on the surface. This cooking surface, combined with its dual functionality, makes it incredibly practical. Overall, I’m very impressed with this design and its adaptability for various uses. Set up was easy. It is a little spendy but the small compact size and portability and overall quality make it a fairly good value for the money. ... show more

  • Nice Nice
I really like this thing. It only took a few minutes to put together and it looks well built. Has a flu dampener in the bottom pipe. I’m 5’7” and I’m about 5” away from being able to reach the top pipe. Has a lid lifter to pull off the two covers so you can put a pot or pan over the hole. It comes with gloves but they aren’t the best. You can also take off the oven and just run it as a woodstove so that’s nice. The pipes all fir inside for transport. Unfortunately there’s no thermometer on that part. I do wish it had an insulated pipe in the set so it’s ready to set up it the tent but you can buy those. The only real gripe I have about this thing is the legs don’t lock out so if you move it at all, it becomes unstable until you pull them back out again. The lid lifter is good for that. I still think this is a great little stove for cold weather camping or if you’re in a no open fires campground ... show more

  • Bulky but Very Useful Bulky but Very Useful
This stove is designed for an ice fishing tent, or a hunting tent. If you’re bringing it out with you, you’re probably going to need a sled to haul it along. It’s got a real weight to it, I’m guessing close to 15lbs and is fairly bulky. The equipment can all fit inside the unit but there are two segments that would pretty much require their own backpack to carry. That being said, if your goal is deep winter exploration or hunting this is the stove for you. It was a breeze to put together and is pretty much self explanatory. The divided section keeps ash from getting into your food as it heats and gives a better degree of control over the temperature. It’s made out of quality sturdy metal so it won’t warp or dent easily during transit. It’s very useful for the task of deep woods camping in winter, but for most situations it would be overkill. ... show more

  • Sturdy Sturdy
This is a very well-built stove and oven. The firebox has two air vents, and the chimney even has a damper. There is a thermometer to watch temperature and glass plates to see your fire level and food in the oven so there is not need to open any doors and lose heat unnecessarily. The pieces are sturdy. However, the legs do not lock so you need to be careful if you move the firebox that the legs do not fold. The instructions were very simple, it only takes about 5 minutes to put together since really most of it was already preassembled. There were a couple things I would have preferred to have been spelled out in the instructions. 1. For the first chimney section, use one of the smoke tubes and then the adjustable chimney tube, and then the other smoke tubes. 2. The plate of the hook was stuck behind a screw, I had to slide the hook away from the corner. 3. There are two glass windows, which need to be placed in the open squares on the front and side of the firebox. It takes 15-20 minutes to reach strong cooking heat and about 30 minutes for the oven temperature to stabilize. All of the accessories fit inside the firebox for easy storage. I like the fact that the ovenbox can be detached so you have the option to just use the firebox and stove top. It will need to be wiped down after each use. The smoke tubes and firebox collect soot and ash. This retains heat for quite a while and it takes an hour and a half or two hours to cool down in order to disassemble and stow. Water can warp the components if you try to use it to accelerate the cool-down. It would have been nice if this came with an insulated transport and storage bag. Although it is compact, it is still heavy and would not be suited for hiking or backpacking. It would work best for a camping trip where you have a base camp near your vehicle. Or even as an enclosed firepit since many areas prohibit open fires. We have it as an emergency backup in case of a power outage after a hurricane. ... show more

  • OK…How Adorable is THIS?! OK…How Adorable is THIS?!
I know nothing about tent camping but my son and his wife do quite a bit of it where they live in Texas. He just happened to fly up and surprise me today. I surprised him with this little wood stove oven. Of course he can’t take it back with him now but maybe in the spring? So he has been looking for something like this and has actually looked at this particular oven. He assembled it in 10 minutes. He said it was a good quality and well built and had all of the necessary things needed for a good camping stove. It seriously looks like an easy bake oven but in wood stove/oven and stainless form. He especially liked the little pop out legs! So I’m using his experience and knowledge of these types of stoves as my review. It’s a good quality stove with all of the necessary components for a successful camping stove experience. Once put together it was solid and easy to use. ... show more
