  • Awesome hot tent stove
This little stove puts out some heat! I love it and works great in my hot tent. All the campers around me use rv's and trailers and they were so shocked that my hot tent with this little stove was 90 degrees inside with windows closed in 31 degree weather. The only thing I can say needs improvement is the gasket on the door needs upgraded or beefed up ( I plan to add more to it) it backgrafts some and smokes out of the front and side flame cut outs if you damper the flue back. So I have to leave the flu more open than id like. Plan on trying to adjust mine myself to help with this. I love how compact it is when all folded up and that everything fits in it to carry. Wpuld love the option to purchase added flu pipe to make it a little taller for my hot tent since its not as tall as I would like. If there's an option to buy more pipe that will work directly with this unit please let me know. Love that it already had the attached spots for guy lines as well. If you are thinking of investing in a camp stove, hot tent stove, or even adding to rv, trailer, or bus build this little stove is awesome! ... show more

  • Dark tent red pipe! Magical.
I would give it a 4.5 because of price and ease of use. We went camping and decided to pull the plug on this one. Pros: - It will heat up your tent very well - you can warm items on the top - extremely easy to use and carry Cons: - make sure you cure it the first time you use it in the open air. The paint will smoke until it’s fully cured. THIS IS A MUST - extra work with cutting firewood to fit; the regular 16” firewood from the campground wont fit, THEY ARE TOO LONG, meaning you will have to cut at least 3” from every log in order for the door to close. I did enjoy the extra work, it made the camping more interesting and was able to teach the kids on how to use a saw. The reason I post this is because I was under the impression that a regular log for firewood wood work. - you will have to tend to it at least every 2 hours at night. It burns hot and fast. Completely normal. I would have given it a 5 but I didn’t cure it so my tent got lots of smoke the firs night from the paint curing. Second night was great, no more smoke and no more smell. If you are just experimenting, then this is the stove for you. If you will be camping multiple times a year then I suggest going a size bigger to eliminate the hassle of having to cut all logs in order for them to fit. The build is great specially for the price. The pipes will get red hot like some comments already say, this is completely normal too, I actually enjoy it that a lot specially on a cold night. ... show more

  • Fantastic portable stove!
We were very impressed with this portable camping stove. It's not too heavy, but sturdy enough and did not feel cheaply made. The stove was easy to use, burns very efficiently ( once up to temperature, there was little to no smoke produced). We were able to cook on it with a cast iron skillet and camp kettle for coffee. Time will tell how durable it is, but it seems like it will hold up. Most importantly, the pull out ash pan was a huge convenience to clean the stove. Would highly recommend this product! ... show more

  • Excellent Tent Stove!
This little tent stove packs a punch! I use it in a 10ft diameter teepee-style tent that has the vent opening that perfectly fits this stove. This stove is extremely efficient and can easily warm a larger tent. The ventilation is excellent keeping the smoke from filling your tent. It is the perfect size stove that allows you to maximize sleeping space while keeping you warm and toasty even at temps below freezing. It also offers convenience of being able to heat up a camp percolator coffee pot or even cook small items in a pan right on top of the stove. ... show more

  • Great Purchase
Wonderful little thing that puts off loads of heat!

  • Exactly as described
Exactly as advertised. Small, portable, lightweight. Set up was very simple. First burn was in the open, second burn was in my 400 sq ft yurt, when the overnight was 35 degrees outside. I should have known better. But the pipe hole on the tent was too large and I didn't purchase anything to close a 6" vent hole down to a 2" vent hole. Big mistake. Lots of heat loss due to that. Door, doesn't seal tight, so attention needs to be paid. Strongly recommend a fan for the top of it. Pipes glowed red, and needed heat was lost to the chimney. Due to the constant air flow from the door, I was refilling the box every 2hrs thru the night. Short fire box, so plan ahead when cutting. Its cheap, exactly as described, appears well built for the money. Plan to fine tune it before you need to use it. ... show more

  • Toxic ! DANGEROUS
ZERO STARS!!! DO NOT BUY !!! Did a 6 hour burn to get the smell off before attempting to use for a teepee tent. My son threw up from the fumes within an hour. We ended up leaving the setup and getting a motel room for the night. Next day we ran the stove all day to try and get the fumes to burn off. That night we attempted to sleep in the tent and the same thing happened. About an hour in my son was throwing up again. This is absolutely unbelievable. This product is not safe. ... show more

  • Excellent Value!
We love that it has an intake and exhaust valve to balance air flow and heat distribution. We also love the removable ash tray below the firebox. These three attributes can also be found in our seven-thousand-dollar wood stove at home, which is why we purchased it. It is heavy and stable, showing it was well-made. We cannot wait to use it in the field. ... show more
