Can the purifier and dehumidifier be run simultaneously? Yes, the dehumidifier and purifier can run at the same time. What's the dehumidifier operating temperatures? Temperature should be a minimum of 50ºF, and max of 122ºF. How often should i replace the filter? It's recommended to replace the filter every 6 months or sooner depending on air quality and usage. How do I reset the orange air filter light, after replacing the filter? When the "Air Purifier" light flashes orange, and you've changed the filter, press and hold the "Air Purifier" button for 7 seconds. The light should change back to solid green, indicating it's been reset. Where can I get more filters? You can find Tenergy's 3 pack filter by searching for B096H8K8G1 on Amazon. It is also strongly recommended to use only Tenergy filters for an ideal experience.

Works well, quiet sound, easy to empty tank

I bought another dehumidifier for my damp, old, and musty office. The first humidifier just pulled up mold and other irritants and blew them around. I could tell because I could smell the mold and I was having severe symptoms - headaches, dizziness, tingly lips and tongue. I returned it and bought this instead. It filters the air so well! I have smelled NO mold and have had no irritant related symptoms. It pulls the humidity out effectively, and I know because I have a humidity meter. The tank needs to be emptied every 2-4 days depending on weather and how damp my office is. It's super easy to empty and return the tank. I'm a therapist and the sound is quiet, maybe the sound of a low - medium volume sound machine. I love this filter/ humidifier so much, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a dehumidifier. Update Dec 30,2021: I recieved this unit on Sept 4 and have had it running constantly since. It continues to keep the air clean and the humidity low. I can't recommend this product more. If you're looking for an air filter or dehumidifier, you should definitely try this one. It's certainly worth it! Side note, I'm not being compensated in anyway for this review. Great results for a decent price!

I have allergies and asthma and live in a very humid climate. (Seattle). Apartment living means that you often have moisture causing mildew or mold around window casings etc. I decided after doing research that not only did we need an air filter system, that a humidifier was a necessity. The product was shipped fast (next day with Prime), easy directions and set up and comes with a 2 year warranty (no extra cost). I had read a review about someone that had an issue with a rattling noise. No issues like that at all. It's low speed fan is very quiet and the higher speed is equal to a table fan if that. I was checking the water collection as I was curious how effective it was really going to be. It collected 6 oz's of water in the first 5 hours. And since then I have continued checking it to find that it is really pulling a lot of the moisture and we are getting much better air quality in the apartment. I would advise if you have a larger place, get a couple of them. I have moved it around a few times and it is very light and easy to move. Extremely happy with the purchase though I have only had it 6 days now. I will update if any issues but we love it so far. I bought a couple of extra filters at the time of the purchase. They are the lower priced Hepa filters at $12.00 so it's not a high cost to replace them when the time comes. ... show more

Breathing easier on Day 1

This thing works. I recently started renting a 1-bedroom house that I am absolutely in love with, but something in the bedroom was triggering my asthma (dust, mold, cat hair, maybe pollen, who knows). Every night when I’d get into bed my chest would tighten up and I found myself reaching for my rescue inhaler for the first time in many, many years. I got this because I needed a 2-in-1 purifier and dehumidifier because my bedroom gets humid too and my landlords recommended using a dehumidifier. On Day 1, as soon as I plugged in the Sorbi I could feel it doing its job. I have not needed my rescue inhaler once since using it and I’m sleeping so much better now. The controls are very user-friendly and it’s easy to empty and clean the water tank. As far as sound goes, the high setting is fairly noisy (akin to a large fan running next to you) and the low setting is impressively quiet to me, just above a whisper. It does not prevent me from falling asleep at all. I will say the controls are kind of bright at night, so you may want to cover those if you are sensitive to light at night. But maybe I just need to see if those can be dimmed. And I was awoken before by the sound of water dripping into the tank on dehumidifier mode, so I now switch that off when sleeping and only run that part during the day. I love, love, love this little powerhouse and I will not be without one henceforth. 10/10 highly recommend! ... show more

Truly portable, small, and works

Almost perfect. I keep it in my already tightly packed bedroom closet which is a mold trap for lack of sunlight or ventilation. It works and on low only needs the captured water removed about every third day. The problem with it on high is that it’s very loud. However low is soft and I can’t hear it from bed. ... show more

UPDATE 7/10/20: still working great after more than a year which I'm very happy with. Filters get expensive especially if you need to change them alot, depending how dirty the air is. But it's nice to know it's in the filter and not in the air I'm breathing. Definitely recommend this as an affordable air purifier option. I'm so glad I got this. I noticed mold was growing on my windows and window sills. I wanted something to keep the humidity down and also clean the air in my room incase there was any mold spores in the air. Me and my husband also both vape in my room which produces lots of extra vapor in the air along with it being the time of year that water tends to build up on the windows from the cold. I love that this one is an air purifier as well as a dehumidifier. It was the only one I could find in a decent price range that had the air purifier included in the same device. It's definitely helped to keep the humidity down in my room and my windows are staying much drier now. There's still some slight water accumulating on them but it's also winter and they are always worse during this time of year. It has decreased dramatically though which is great. I have emptied the bucket several times already but it holds alot so I don't have to empty it so often that it's annoying. It shuts off automatically when it is full and tells you it needs to be emptied which is a pro. You can also you can use just the air purifier alone, but if you turn the dehumifier on the air purifier comes on automatically. I just hope I am able to order filters for it though, as I saw there were some issues regarding them never being in stock. I shouldn't need one for 5 months or so but I want to have some on hand. So far I have no complaints about this and for the price of it, it's an excellent unit. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a dehumidifier at a good price. ... show more

stopped working after 3 months, right at the filter replacement mark

within 3 months of getting the dehumidifier the filter had to be replaced and the product stopped working. In order for dehumidifier to work you need to replace the air filter (the unit stops working fully if the filter needs replacing). I purchased the replacement filters, used 3 out of 4 just to find that the "Air Filter" light won't stop blinking, so that means the unit is on, makes noise but doesn't function properly (it was one for days and no liquid was collected in the unit reservoir). I purchased it last summer and it's just sitting in the closet, since it stopped working (3 months ago after purchase was made) The quality of the housing isn't great either, the filter door is made of flimsy plastic and it doesn't close properly, keeps falling out. Not worth the price. The only reason I bought it was the design itself, more presentable and not an eye sore as the rest of the dehumidifiers on the market. ... show more
