This thing is huge! I wasn't expecting this thing to have so much range , it's really nice and it does its job for sure. Wanna look cool in your studio.. get this hahaha. For real, it's perfect. The only issue I have with it, is the little clips that hold the XLR in place along the back side of the stand are a little fragile. But not enough take away a star.

    • Best ''Bang for Buck'' Boom Arm Out There

Occasionally I find myself with the desire to defend a product against what can only be described as ''operator error''. I snagged this boom arm after my last one snapped internally after 3 years of daily use. I use it for my SM7B while gaming / doing interviews. For this price you're not going to get a Grade A, super solid and irreplaceable boom arm, truth be told there are many out there of similar quality - but this arm is DEFINITELY as good as it's gonna get. The only real complaints being that two of the wire wraps (two highest) come undone periodically when folding the arm down, and occasionally the joints need to be tightened (specifically the highest one, maybe once every two weeks) - but otherwise it's great. One thing to keep in mind regarding the joints though, is to be mindful of HOW MUCH you tighten them. I'm seeing reviews about weak/broken joints, and I am almost certain that they overtightened and more or less broke them by doing so. Common sense really, but yeah, maybe don't go crazy tightening the joints? Lol. It'll go where you need it to, hold it's form well, and will give you everything you need from a boom arm, for a very reasonable price. ... show more
