I bought two sets of these batteries in 2012. As of this moment, not a single battery has failed for me. Not one. They are all still in daily use as well, having been recharged many times over the years. While they may not be the best or most powerful, they are reliable and last quite a while in devices like LED lights (I use a lot of them in LED light strips under cabinets) and in portable battery powered fans, which they also last a few days with running the fan over night solid. Because it is now 6 years, I am buying two more sets to have because I do expect at some point to start seeing failures being these are now 6 years old with multiple recharges to them. These battery's are good. I've used them for a week or two now and I can say the capacity is better than alcaline battery's I've used in the past. I'm just now making the switch to using rechargable NiMH in everyday household items. But I've been using li-ion battery's for years for vaping and from that I learned there are some really cheap battery's out there. These aren't those! Lol. I don't know how they measure there mAh rating but I can say these battery's capacity is better than there non rechargable counterparts. They charge up to 1.3 volts and seem to stay there most of the time untill there just about completely dead. In lameman terms-- when I put them in my cat toys the toy dosnt start slowing down when the battery is dying it just stops when the battery is dead. :p I just wish they included more than 4 D battery's in the pack, my flashlight takes 6 & I have 4. ... show more

I bought these one year ago along with the charger and another set of AA and AAA. Now half of them will not charge I've charged them twice and they worked great and now they don't work at all they're supposed to have a thousand Cycles of charging and I got 2 cycles out of them im very disappointed now I have $150 dollars invested in them and can only use half of them ... show more

After using Tenergy batteries and chargers for over 4 years - I cannot recommend them high enough. I tried other name brand batteries and chargers from big box stores - usually they failed within a year or so. Tenergy batteries and chargers work well providing reusable batteries possessing longer than regular battery life. I am still recycling (recharging and reusing) my original batteries from better than 4 years ago - THIS pack is a nice mix and addition to those I have bought over the years. Love this set. The 8 AA batteries are rated 2600 mAh And the 8 AAA are rated at 1000 mAh. This amount of power will last a long time, depending on what you’re using it for, i.e., a toy for much much longer than a battery operated vacuum which uses a lot of power.
