I've always bought name brand rechargeable batteries in the past, but that was because I didn't understand MAH levels. Now I get it. The higher the Milliamp number (MAH) the longer the battery lasts in comparison to a lower MAH number in the same device. This is why cheaper regular batteries cost less most of the time. They hold less power. You aren't saving any money buying them. Now that is out of the way, I bought these because I have a lot of baby devices, a digital camera, toys, and a few wireless devices. Everything in his nursery runs on batteries. I don't have to change out batteries nearly as often as I did before (over $20 a month minimum. The kid likes to push buttons.) They have a higher MAH than the average regular battery you can buy in a big box store. Even if you do the math on the difference between the MAH and the cost per battery plus electricity, these are a value. These have already paid for themselves twice in the couple of months I've had them, and I haven't even had to change out the D batteries in my son's swing yet. If you are unsure if you should buy them.... just buy them. They're worth it many times over.

I have a variety of Tenergy rechargeable batteries in addition to this just purchased set. Thus far every battery has performed well. Since heat is an enemy of these batteries I use a slow charger on the AA and AAA batteries. You really cannot do that with the C and D cells due to their large capacity. I do use a Tenergy charger (Capable of fast charging only) and a separate charged of another brand for slow charging. Most of these batteries are used in LED candles from various manufacturers. A few are used in LED flashlights of varying outputs. Some are used in solar yard lights. Thus far I am very pleased with charging and run times. When buying any rechargeable battery, take note of its capacity. C and D cells as an example are available in multiple capacities. A 5,000 MAH D cell will charge faster but not last as long as a 10,000 MAH cell. You really have to read the descriptiuons of use the zoom feature to enlarge the images to read the documentatin on the batteries themsleves.

Love this set. The 8 AA batteries are rated 2600 mAh And the 8 AAA are rated at 1000 mAh. This amount of power will last a long time, depending on what you’re using it for, i.e., a toy for much much longer than a battery operated vacuum which uses a lot of power. Also remember that rechargeable batteries discharge a bit even when they’re not being used. But it’s so easy to recharge them up again, and they’re such a great cost savings and environmentally friendly in a major way.

After using Tenergy batteries and chargers for over 4 years - I cannot recommend them high enough. I tried other name brand batteries and chargers from big box stores - usually they failed within a year or so. Tenergy batteries and chargers work well providing reusable batteries possessing longer than regular battery life. I am still recycling (recharging and reusing) my original batteries from better than 4 years ago - THIS pack is a nice mix and addition to those I have bought over the years. If you are "battery bound" - don't hesitate - you will not regret going with Tenergy - and you'll save money and the environment.

I like these so far; tired of the environmental costs of throwing away all the sizes of batteries. Great selection, blue color makes them easy to ID and find. Very happy, for the price, for the many sizes included in the assortment. And I was given someone's extra Energizer multi-size charger. What's not to love?

These battery's are good. I've used them for a week or two now and I can say the capacity is better than alcaline battery's I've used in the past. I'm just now making the switch to using rechargable NiMH in everyday household items. But I've been using li-ion battery's for years for vaping and from that I learned there are some really cheap battery's out there. These aren't those! Lol. I don't know how they measure there mAh rating but I can say these battery's capacity is better than there non rechargable counterparts. They charge up to 1.3 volts and seem to stay there most of the time untill there just about completely dead. In lameman terms-- when I put them in my cat toys the toy dosnt start slowing down when the battery is dying it just stops when the battery is dead. :p I just wish they included more than 4 D battery's in the pack, my flashlight takes 6 & I have 4.
