The first set of lights I got were defective. The tiny wires attaching the lights to the plug weren't attached well. Customer service replace everything without an issue.     • Easy to install versatile led light strip for our travel trailer
I ordered this strip to install on our older Gulfstream travel trailer. Over the years we have installed light strips on 2 RVs. This light strip includes the connection to wire direct into the trailer's 12V porch light. We found this handy 1156 180° Socket Pre-wired Connector Adapter Wiring Harness, that fits the porch light socket in the older style porch light allowing us to hard wire this light strip. The only concern I had with this strip is the lack of 3M adhesive strip. So far the strip is holding, but I have always considered 3M adhesive strips to be the gold standard for these light strips. Time will tell I guess, but otherwise this light strip set is serving us well. Aside from the lack of 3M adhesive, this is a quality made light strip that I expect will hold up the the elements well. I really like the functionality of the app and the remote controls. They are straight forward to operate and many features such as dimming and color choices. These are really pretty lights. I bought them for my van and my kids love having them turned on when we take it camping. They were easy enough to install and so far have held up really well. I love the multi colors available with this set. The controller is reliable and has been working for the two months these have been in use. I used some brackets to secure the lights, they come with some and there is a sticky tape on the back of the light strip but I never trust that alone to hold them up. ... show more

I mounted these rgb lights on our back deck and installation was very easy. The adhesive is very strong but I also used the include mounting clips so these lights are very secure. The wired controller, the rgb strip and the connections are all waterproof making for a good outdoor installation. these lights come with a 12 volt cigarette adaptor or use the alternative connector to wire to any 12 volt source. The lights can be controlled by the include 24 key remote or an app installed on your phone. The different effects are fantastic and it also has a sound reactive mode for syncing the lights to music.     • Great camper awning lights
I got these to replace awning lights which had failed. When I took these out of the box, I could tell right away that they were much more heavy duty than the ones that I had purchased years ago, which also claimed to be waterproof. The installation on an awning is tough because the channel where they fit is fairly narrow but a little bit of lubrication allowed them to pull through easily. I hard wired them into my camper where the old lights were attached, and if you do that, you'll need to stick the control box to the outside of your camper. That's the way that mine were previously installed so I just placed this in the same spot where I had removed the old one. The patterns and brightness control are better than what I had as well. Due to their thickness, I had a hard time splicing two ends together (I cut it slightly short) with the connectors that I had, but that speaks to their sturdiness. Great lights! ... show more

    • Using for bedroom
When I got these lights I did not realize that it didn't come with a wall plug. That was my bad for not paying attention. I noticed the connector looked like I could use my computer charger to give them power and it worked. So I bought a power supply to plug it in. After that these lights we up in my daughters bedroom. This is the first time I have put up LED lights. It was very easy. Peel off the back and stick. Peeling off the back was very easy and smooth. I got them stuck on the wall with no problem and only took a few minutes. Once up my daughter was having fun with the remote changing the colors and making them flash. These lights serves as a lamp and are relaxing to look at. It gives the room a nice feel when it's time to wined down for the night. ... show more
