What can I say. The dogs love it. I purchased this to insert into a dog bed cover I purchased. I made 2 generous size bed at a fraction of the cost that I would have paid to get a nice thick firm mattress doggie bed. It was worth every penny and achieved exactly what I was looking for. Our giant dog 120lbs truely enjoyed his new doggie bed. Our 30lb dog enjoyed hers as well. I would say the dogs enjoy the comfort of their new firm, generous size and quality of this mattress pad. While there was a slight smell upon opening within 24hrs it was gone. Be sure to buy length opening size dog bed covers if you're trying to insert this into a large doggie bed. Easier to insert. This 4” mellow 5 zone memory foam better than I thought it would be on my twin xl firm mattresses. It was well worth the money. I hope that it continues to be comfortable as a Mother’s love. This is a budget item for a budget price but since I got it to put underneath my high end (my opinion) pure latex foam mattress, it has worked out perfectly. I would recommend only if you are looking for a budget friendly item. If you want a simple foam mattress that is friendly to joints and sleeps like a dream, get pure latex (here on Amazon). I agree this would be a good dorm essential unless daddy is Gotbucks. I don't know about all the cooling gel infusion stuff or the 5 zone memory foam. What? This is just a foam mattress pad. This topper was purchased in November 2023. At first, it was fine. Made life a lot better sleeping-wise, until it didn’t. Noticed it started to come apart in certain parts in March, so I contacted customer support. They replaced the topper in April 2024 (about 4 months after having it). They were fantastic (still are), but the company policy is they will not cover anything under warranty if you have had a prior claim processed. I had to contact again (June 2024, not even 4 months after, but less than TWO MONTHS this time), and the product is TORN through this time. Before, it only was coming apart in certain places. This should NOT happen for a topper that just LAYS there on top of another mattress. Guess they really know how to treat consumers and people that give them money, right? By disrespecting the labor that they put forth by earning the money that pays for their products; that keeps them in business. Never will I ever purchase another Mellow product again because of this. It does not last even 6 months for the first one, but TWO of them. You can see the pictures of where the first one was tearing, but the second one RIPPED. How can companies CLAIM to be “green” yet make products that don’t even last 6 months, let alone a year?! Yup, “green” by filling our landfills with crap products. Do I recommend Mellow products? Absolutely NOT. I cannot blame customer service for doing their job as they were only trained to do and say certain things. I can, however, 1000% blame the company! ... show more
