I used this on the north side of my driveway which always get wind drifting snow. It was put out at 50 feet long and 40 inches high. We had a rather snowy and windy winter and this stayed up with no problem and helped with the drifting problem. Just today I took it down rolled it up and will use it again next winter. We bought this to put in front of our camper and drift boat. Every year we have to shovel snow, and plow sow out from in front of them, to go spring fishing. Hoping this helps. During a fence renovation project, and to keep the neighbors dogs in their own yard, we decided to use this product. We thought for the price we'd be lucky to get one use out of it. But we will get much more. Our fence renovation project involves four neighbors and as we go through the many steps of repairing the fence line - this temporary fence does the job. Won't be surprised when the project is completed, we can hold on to it for future needs. We were standing in Home Depot and ordering on Amazon! Only needed 50 feet and the store only had 100 feet rolls on the shelves. Also noticed they had a space on the shelves for 50 feet rolls but Amazon had a better price. Needed to shut off part of our yard to our dogs so the grass has a chance to recover.
