  • Great heavier netting
Size: 7-Feet by 100-Feet
I got this to replace the ultralight version of netting for the top 6 feet of our 10 foot high garden fence. The bottom of our fence is woven wire. I extended the T-posts with electrical conduit and deer netting covers the upper half. This heavier duty deer netting is great. Much thicker than the flimsy stuff. It's easier to install and should be more durable. ... show more

  • Fantastic product!
Size: 7-Feet by 100-Feet
I really liked this product. it's much thicker than the stuff I found at a big store so not only does it work better, it's soooooooo much easier to work with because you can actually see it, LOL. I've included a photo comparing it to the big store product. The openings are a bit larger in this thicker stuff but it keeps out the bigger animals just fine. And because it's thicker, it could be used for more than one season. The only struggle I had was w/ the width of it. I knew this going into it and that's what I wanted but a net that's 7 feet tall isn't easy to work with so I had to enlist the help of a friend. But, that thickness also made it easier to work w/ since it gave it some body. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who must use something to keep critters out of the garden. It's pricier but I think it's well worth the extra cost. ... show more

  • Keeps out deer, but not rabbits unless you dig in
Size: 7-Feet by 100-Feet
Ok so I have an acre long thin back yard. My husband and I fenced off about 350feet of this in our back yard to prevent the deer from coming in. It certainly prevents the deer from entering, they walk up to it and walk away. Keep in mind we have two neighbors within 50-100 feet on each side so I am not out on a large open space of land where deer may be running and jumping. This is the roll that is folded in half but seems strong. We did have a deer hit by a car in the road out front and it seems that another deer with it was spooked and ran into our fence. We used the 7ft tall metal posts from Home depot to hold it up (recommend 8ft instead if you can find them as the top flops over) and an area between 2 bars (about 10ft apart) was bent down to the ground. I pushed the metal posts back up to straight and the mesh fence was fine. A couple small rips but I just zip tied these closed. Now rabbits are another story. We left 1ft at the bottom of the fence along the ground laying away from our yard. Initially this kept animals out but then the grass grew and pushed up the mesh. We had to cut into the sod in a line and push the fence mesh into this hole and then use short metal u-shaped stakes (find at home depot or here on amazon 75 per box) and use this to reinforce. This works great and keeps the rabbits out too. so far no chewing through the mesh but I have read on some websites that they may do that at which point you reinforce with chicken wire. ... show more

  • This is a good middle-of-the-road option
Size: 7-Feet by 100-Feet
This netting is rigid enough to re-use after the season. Roll it up & then use it next year. I don't know how long it will last in the sun, but it seems good enough. The cheap stuff gets tangled & is impossible to work with. The expensive version (same brand) is extremely easy to work with - but is spendy. I would recommend this product. ... show more

  • Use to create a tomato cage
Size: 7-Feet by 100-Feet
I had created a tomato cage around my raised bed to protect the tomatoes from thieving squirrels, damage from birds and horn worms (moth can't get into the bed to lay their eggs), etc but the initial bird netting was such a pain to work with. Always snagging on my clothing and tools. This year switched to this deer netting which is much sturdier and no more snagging. Additional benefit was buying a rolled in the closest size to the supports so easier to build (no more cutting, shaping, making mitered corners). ... show more

  • Fine and dandy as long as it is just for show. Fence + Rabbits = Swiss Cheese.
Size: 5' x 330'
I purchased this fence. It arrived a bit unraveled but otherwise it was fine. I installed about 320 of the 330 feet I would guess on 60 posts. 180 zip-ties and 177 garden staples later, I figured I was good to go so I released the pups out into their new sanctuary. They did great with the boundaries and didn't touch the fence at all. One is a 60lb lab, the other is an 11lb terrier. We were out there all afternoon. Some of that time supervised, some where I watched from a distance to see if they were behaving with the new fence. All was good... that is until the sun went down. Rabbits have destroyed this fence. In about a week's time, they have made more than a dozen holes in the fence big enough that the little dog could go right through with no effort if unsupervised. The rabbits are probably making new holes out there as I type this. The description of the products states "Tenax pet fence can be used for dog runs, back yards protection and as temporary enclosure." It gives reference to "performance and strength applied to deer and animal protection" and how based on this, they offer this product for us DIYers. In no way, shape, or form does this offer any level of protection and I must say, this is the level of disappointment that just keeps on kicking you. I spent a long time measuring everything out, making sure fencing was supported and attached properly and the bottom of the fence was secure. When I saw that first rabbit hole, I figured maybe they'll be done now and just use that hole from here on out to go in and out. NOPE. Hole after hole kept showing up along the entire length. That's the moment you realize you just spend a couple hundred dollar erecting a fence that does absolutely nothing. So, got on the chat with Amazon to see what we can do to remedy this situation. The next kick came when I find out that I now get to disassemble all the fencing and figure out how I am going to be able to roll up 330 feet of rabbit ravaged fencing into a manageable roll size. Now those 180 zip ties get to be snipped and those 177 garden staples get to be pulled back up. Regardless it needs to come down as right now it's just there for show. The best advice I can give is that if you have *EVER* even seen a rabbit near your home, I'd take a hard pass on this product. If you do decide to go with this product, hopefully your time and money isn't wasted in the same fashion mine was. Overall, so supremely disappointed with the results that it is almost laughable. *Update* Amazon came through and made it right. Now I will just need to look for an alternative. ... show more
