It is a lightweight and light-duty metal box with a lock. Not exactly a very secure "safe". Probably can be cracked open easily if you have some tools but other than that it suits my needs.

Not much to say. It's a great, compact case. It will not hold much. I have a Sig P322 that is somewhere between a compact and full-sized handgun. I can fit the handgun and two 10 round magazines but that's pretty much it. If you need to store more stuff I would definitely go bigger.
