This is a great safe for the price. Can hold 6 rifles or shotguns with no scope on it. I have 4 in there now and the one with a scope, I just put sideways next to my Bullpup shotgun which I put sideways also. The keypad and finger print reader was easy to program. The fingerprint reader works really well. I scanned my thumb 3 different times, which is 12 times cause 1 time makes you scan 3x in different positions. I have opened it a bunch of times and never had it reject it. I even have my wife's in it and no problem. Key is to do as many different positions so no mater what, it will open. The memory can hold 120 prints. So you can open it with the key, number code, fingerprint, or number code with a fingerprint to open. Construction is nice. Can move the shelf to 2 different positions, and you can move the rifle holder up and down to accommodate the length of your rifle. Has a nice lock box in it and it comes with 2 keys and 2 keys for the outside. Comes with some decent anchor bolts to secure it. The construction is very well. The front door is thick and heavy, and the sides and back are steal. Not to heavy duty. Good to keep people out, like my kids and guests, and I would think thieves would have a very hard time getting into it or taking it if bolted. Even if not bolted, it is heavy with the weapons and ammo you keep in it. Just wish it was fire proof. When everything I know about this safe, would I purchase it again....... OH Yeah. We were looking for a smaller form factor safe to hold 5-6 rifles, a couple of pistols and a few other things. It absolutely had to fit within a specific small space. Safe arrived within a few days. Was packaged excellently and we received it with ZERO damage in perfect condition. Fits perfectly into the space we were looking to install it. Works a charm. No issues with fingerprint reader for myself or my wife. Resetting combo is easy if you read directions. Number lock works well and having the key is welcome backup option. Has more than enough room for our needs. As other reviewers have suggested we did also add some Kutek motion sensing LED lights (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010Y1U1JO?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) which makes the safe and lock box easily useable in the dark. When I registered the safe with the manufacturer I received a nice email for a free door organiser and we are currently awaiting its arrival and will update review when received. Overall, so far a pleasureable experience. We are very happy we bought this product and looking to purchase another albeit smaller unit from this manufacturer in the near future. ... show more

I don’t buy a pack of chewing gum without researching it for six months, so trust me when I say I did my due diligence on this gun safe. It is perfect if you only need to hold 4 or 5 rifles, especially if they’re to keep them away from curious little ones. And it can also easily handle several pistols if you have the appropriate accommodations (like a door organizer –more on that shortly). I bought this to hold my new CMMG Banshee 300 9mm, as well as my S&W 1000 12 gauge with a 28” barrel. While doing my research, I saw many folks who wondered if it would accommodate a shotgun without removing the movable shelf – the answer is yes it can, but it will need to be positioned over to one side. There’s an included side-mounted single firearm foam rubber rack on the right specifically for this purpose, but had I used it, it put the shotgun right under the shelf, and the gun was too long for that (which meant I would have had to choose between the shotgun or the shelf). But no worries because I bought the 2-pack “Peregrine, Magnet Gun Caddy with Velcro, Orange” for $9.99 and it holds both my short PCC and my tall shotgun upright perfectly (i.e. neither one utilizes the included rack): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CJKNHV1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Additionally, the built-in 4 gun foam rack in the back is too high for my 8” barreled Banshee Pistol Caliber Carbine, so this second individual magnetic rack works perfectly on the Banshee. To light the interior, I bought a “Kuled 10-led Wireless Motion Sensing Stick-on Anywhere Step LED Light Bar with Magnetic Strip, Pure White, 3-Pack” for $17.99 on the recommendation of another reviewer https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010Y1U1JO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They do the trick, but turn off after only about 15 – 20 seconds, so I’m on the lookout for some longer-lasting ones. I also purchased a four-pack of incredibly strong neodymium magnetic hooks to hang additional items inside (or out), like my Galati International 9mm four-magazine pouch as my go-bag for Glock 33 round “fun sticks.” These neodymium magnetic hooks are all over Amazon and they’re definitely strong enough to hold these four mags containing an aggregate 132 rounds. As far as the safe, it comes with sheetrock anchor bolts, but that’s wishful thinking, so I went to Home Depot and purchased some similar width, but longer, wood bolts and ratcheted them into the stud behind the sheetrock. I highly recommend doing this, as this not only keeps it from falling over (it’s somewhat top-heavy) but doing so it will also considerably slow down any would-be thief. As far as the safe’s construction, it is well-built and fairly heavy-gauge steel, but the door is the only thing with heft/depth. In other words, while it’s not a fireproof or waterproof safe, it’s perfect to store your firearms away from curious snooping little ones, but a determined thief will not have a serious problem getting into it, but to be fair, he’ll need to bring some likewise serious cutting and prying tools. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the biometric sensor doesn’t always read my fingerprint, but in all honesty, so far I’ve only scanned my thumb, index, and middle finger 3 times each, and it advises doing it multiple times (I think it holds 120 different scans of fingerprints, so you’re good there). As soon as I have time to scan more and different angles of my fingerprints, I’ll update my review, but to be honest, I think doing that should cure this issue (and keep in mind, you still can get in using a personalized code, as well as with a key). I just wanted biometric entry for speed-of-entry purposes in the dead of night (oh, and you can also turn off the beeping tone if you want to stay silent, though I recommend doing so only after you’ve loaded all your fingerprint scans – the beeps will help let you know when a scan has been successfully registered). One of the best things is they include an email address in the box where you can request a free door organizer, which as you can see from my photos, provides a LOT of additional storage areas. The guy who answers the email is HIGHLY responsive and polite, and only asks in return you provide a review. All in all, the moveable shelf (it has two heights) and the biometric fingerprint scanner sold me on this safe, and I would definitely purchase it again. ... show more

This is not a 500 Lb dynamite resistant gun safe, but it is a cost effective and secure storage cabinet for guns, ammunition, etc. It arrived early, fully assembled, and in perfect condition. It was easy to move into place and install/bolt to the wall (fasteners included with purchase). It won’t stop a professional thief with good skills/tools, but it will slow them down some and will provide some fire protection It WILL stop children and adults with casual interest or more limited skills/tools. I installed it in a locking “safe room” adjacent to the primary suite and an exterior escape. Significant fire power will be readily available if/when needed, while providing peace of mind that it won’t be inadvertently discovered and or accessed by unauthorized family members, guests or casual thieves/burglars. ... show more
