Almost didn't get it because so many reviews say they couldn't change combo or get both fingerprint and combo to both work. Decided to get it and see. Come to find out the instructions had a bad transition or something. It says to do press and hold the button to set, but that resets the system. You just need to press the button to set the combo or to add a finger print. I got it to save multiple of my fingerprints and do a number combo. ... show more

Unit only opens with key. Per instructions the unit will still not set a fingerprint scan or enter a keypad code. Unit stated as ‘like new” and looks like new, but will not set custom keypad code or fingerprints. After talking to Mfgr and some YouTube video’s, this item has had some issues. But after several reset attempts, the item now works properly and I’m satisfied I will have no further issues. Thank You. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First let me start off saying DONT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES IT WONT LET YOU SET UP THE SAFE YOUR LIGHT ON THE INSIDE WONT WORK EITHER. (So don’t be an IDIOT LIKE ME) ✌🏼 It says not to use them in the instructions I missed that part as I was just excited to set it up that I didn’t read that far into the instructions. After putting regular triple A batteries in this bad boy. She was smooth sailing from there. This safe is sturdy and an easily to function. We will be buying another one! The size of this thing looks small but I can fit two guns stacked and have room for magazines. Or we can fit one full size shadow system dr920 with a threaded barrel. (This one was a tight fight) But my 43x and another similar size gun can be stacked on top of one another. I recommend this safe it’s a nice little night stand safe or even hide away safe in your house for ease. And you can’t Beat the price! ... show more

I tried to follow the poorly written directions to program this piece of trash and it doesn't work. I managed to eventually program the keypad once and it worked once. Of course it then it reset itself when I tried to enter my code a second time. I wasn't able to program it a second time. I called customer service repeatedly and every single time I got a recording and left a message. I've left several messages over the past 4 months and I haven't received a response yet. It works with the key and the factory code but that's about ½ step from useless. I would be willing to exchange it but thy haven't called back so the trash gets picked up tomorrow. Great safe, sturdy and reliable. BUT: Do not follow the instructions to program it! It says "long press" on the setup button. NO! SHORT PRESS to program and it works fine! LONG PRESS UNTIL BEEP resets to factory setting. Once that is sorted, this is a nice ready- access (but NOT FIREPROOF) safe. I like the little internal light, options to disable the beeps, and it will store up to 20 fingerprints to unlock. ... show more
