I tested this exact mattress in the store and it was perfect for me. Two months later and I'm STILL waiting for it to be as plush as in the store. I've read many places that it takes some time to soften up, but this is excessive. I even checked and double checked that I ordered the right one and that the tag/product information says it is the soft one. I wish I could sink into a nice, plush mattress at the end of the day, but I guess I'm stuck with this firm mess for a while. ... show more

Does this new TemperPedic Cal King bed check all of the boxes for us, sure does. The quality, softness and value are all we had hoped for. This vendor sold me my bed at a great price. The bed arrived quickly, was super well packaged, and was personally delivered by a tractor trailer and the dude even helped me unpack it. I got a way better deal on this bed than the retail store that is close by me. This vendor saved me over 300 bucks. I'd totally do this again. My old mattress (Stearns & Foster by Kirkland Signature) was approaching 18 years, and it was starting to sag. After a few months of going to the TempurPedic and Mattress Firm stores to lay on as many as possible, I narrowed it down to TempurPedic; either the LuxeAdapt Soft, or the LuxeBreeze Soft. The LuxeBreeze Soft is a bit more firm than the LuxeAdapt Soft (different top layer materials), and I ultimately decided on the LuxeAdapt Soft because I sleep mostly on my side, and could feel more pressure relief in my shoulders when I tried them in the store. The first 2 nights on the mattress made my lower back slightly sore, but after walking on the mattress a few nights (break-in tips I found on reddit), the foam loosened up and I am sleeping better than I have in many years. I am really glad that I chose this mattress, and it's also $1k cheaper than the LuxeBreeze. I also purchased the Ergo Extend power base, but have not really used the position functions. The SleepTracker AI has been giving me some pretty insightful data on my sleep cycles, though! I'll need more time to evaluate the power base. ... show more

there was a cut in the bottom of the bed, and i paid over 3 grand for a tempur-pedic LUXE extra soft bed and got an extra firm banged up ''beautyrest silver extra firm'' mattress. definitely would not buy again and reported as a scam.

    • Best mattress I've owned
I purchased mine directly from a Tempur-Pedic Flagship retail store with an adjustable base and I simply LOVE IT. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone looking for their best nights sleep. While I purchased the soft, the firm in the same model was extremely comfortable as well. My spouse liked the soft and I liked the firm, so we compromised and got the soft. Our break-in period was just a week or so, I was advised some of their firmer models can experience upwards of a 30-40 day break-in period. After previously purchasing an inexpensive Costco memory-foam mattress about 3 years ago, then trying a Tempur-Pedic while on a business trip on a hotel stay, I can safely opine, there's memory foam and then there's Tempur-Material, they are NOT the same thing. Feel the Tempur difference and you'll be hooked, like I was. I've never fallen asleep faster, stayed asleep longer or had a more restorative sleep until I slept on a Tempur-Pedic, and now ever more so with my Ergo Adjustable Base.     • Ultra plush, ultra pricey
After much research including research on Amazons mattress return policy I went ahead and ordered this mattress. My expectations were very high due to the price. My wife and I both like the mattress. It was not life-changing as many reviews had mentioned. In the end I was just not satisfied with over $5000 for a big piece of foam. We were able to find a clearance Center, Tempur-pedic mattress a little bit lower grade for $1100. It has been nearly 2 months since we submitted for the return and still have not received the credit from Amazon. We are avid Amazon shoppers and have enjoyed their return policy for many years without any issues. We will never again make a large purchase from Amazon as this has been a totally different experience. ... show more
