    • Pretty, but not as described. If you plan on using for gravy...be prepared for a mess I'd guess.

Was pleased this actually arrived early! But, I was looking for a larger capacity for gravy. Description states holds 20 ounces. No it does not. It only holds 16 ounces. Well I guess you could say it holds 20 ounces when filled to the absolute brim, which for gravy would obviously be very impractical. So as I went to pour the water out, I noticed how this would be an awful gravy pitcher. The "spout" area is just too small. As I was pouring water down the drain, it was literally overflowing from the entire front part of the the pitcher. Not just coming over the little "spout" edge, but running over each side of the spout as well. Obviously this is going to make a huge mess when trying to pour out gravy. It's a very pretty little pitcher and I had such high hopes, but I see this as nothing more than a cute addition to a display case. I'll be returning it. ... show more

Great server for the price range but the assembly instructions weren’t great. In case you need help, here’s how I assembled it: - take the small screw and put a metal washer then a plastic washer on the screw - put the larger plate over the screw/washers and put another plastic washer over the part of the screw that’s sticking out (the plate should have a plastic washer on either side) - gently screw the rod onto the screw by hand - outa metal washer over the end of the rod, put another plastic washer on top of the metal one, place the small plate over it, and put another plastic washer on the other side of the plate (the small plate should again have a plastic washer on either side) - put the metal handle over the rod sticking out of the small plate and gently tighten by hand - the server will most likely be wobbly at this point so you’ll need to tighten it a bit more using a screw driver - grab a towel and lay the server sideways over the towel so you don’t scratch the edges - using the screw driver, tighten the screw from the bottom of the server while holding the top handle and middle rod in place (do this with someone else so one person can hold the pieces in place while the other person tighten the screw) - the server should be sturdy now - FYI, I had one leftover plastic washer that I didn’t end up using ... show more

This set is a bit larger than I expected, even though I was aware of the size when ordering. The design is very complementary to the Food Network Fontinella casual china and serving pieces we use. The salt and pepper set to match my discontinued Fontinella china pattern would have cost 3x this price, so I’m glad I used this Lenox design.
