This camera is great, we got it for our six year old and he loves it! We've taken it on hikes and camping trips and it's so fun to see the world through his eyes. It does also come with silly filters and an entire separate section of games you can play on it (super random!) but cool nonetheless. We haven't gotten any of his pictures printed yet, but I imagine the quality won't be superb. It does hold quite a bit of pictures. Update: The camera is very simple to use and my 4 year old loves it. He quickly figured out how to use it. It's very light and all one piece. I originally purchased this one after some reviews and reading that it was suitable for children 3 and up. When we received the item the box said 6 and up. While I still think this should be updated, the camera itself doesn't have anything that I could see as a choking hazard or anything. Good starter camera for preschool age kid. The manufacturer did reach out many times to see what they could do to fix the situation, however since it was a birthday present, I didn't have any answer on how it could be fixed. Due to the quality of the item and the customer service, I changed from one to five stars and would recommend this item. Original review: Cute and seems simple enough that my son will enjoy it. One star because the box states that it is not for children under 6. Though my son will be supervised while playing with it, as a consumer it irks me to no end when I go out of my way to search for something that is for a child, in a specific age group, and to have it explicitly state that it is made for children 3 and up on the listing, to then receive the item and it have completely different safety information. This listing needs to be revised and it should not be recommended by Amazon as a toddler camera if it's not intended for use by children that young. ... show more

Really cute camera, perfect for kid's little hands. I got this for my 4-year-old nephew. I think it's good for younger kids. Teens might think it's too babyish. It's lightweight and can be taken for day trips. I love that it can be transferred to the computer via USB. The box it came in is sturdy, and the camera is well protected. The box says it has front and rear cameras, but I don't know how to switch between the two cameras. The instruction manual is in English, Chinese, and Japanese. It doesn't say how to do it. It's not a big deal, but if the seller posts a video on how to do that, it would be wonderful. My nephew loves taking selfies with his father's smartphone. If he can do that with this "toy" camera, it would be fun for him. ... show more

I liked that it looked more like a real camera than the bright kiddie cameras and it was on sale. I gave it to my great nephew for his birthday and it was definitely the favorite present! He loved it! The adults were impressed with the quality. My nephew said, "I've had cell phones that didn't take pictures this good!" Everyone asked if it was a real camera. Did it save the pics? Can you print them out? Yes! It is just like any digital camera in that way. Just like a grown up camera only tougher and simple for kids. Also I think the recommended age was 5 maybe. I read in the reviews that someone got one for their 3 year old that loved it and this was my great nephew's 2nd birthday. He didn't have a problem using it, once he was shown. So this 2 year old absolutely loved it and took photos with it the whole rest of his birthday party! This was a neat find, a great buy and an amazing and impressive birthday present! We bought this camera for our grandson's 2nd birthday. Our daughter, his mother, is a professional photographer when she has time, so he is familiar with a quality camera, what a view finder is, and how the camera clicks when photos are being taken. He was ECSTATIC to get this real camera! It works just like an adult's professional camera and takes an SD card too. I would love to post a picture of 2 year old him taking photos (and good ones too!) but I can't. I don't care what the age recommendation is on this camera - if you have a toddler or small child who is interested in your camera, but this! Should he break it (it's withstood being accidentally dropped on cement multiple times), we will just buy another. It's that great of a product! ... show more
