I bought this light for my craft room after I had seen it in my hairdresser’s shop, I bought for the bright white light it puts out . It is perfect so far. Fairly easy to assemble , extra set of hands made it easier to install ( 1 hr start -finish). My only complaint is the screws you attach base to are silver and they show, I will paint them but wish I didn’t need to !! ... show more

Bought this light a long time ago because I loved the look and was waiting until the end of our renovation to install it. After I got it installed today I was super disappointed to find that it flickered really badly and had an extremely annoying audible hum. The electronics where super cheap with no fasteners supplied for them to affix them to anything. The wire nuts supplied are not rated to attach stranded wire (what comes with the light) to solid wire (what most Americans have in their walls). ... show more

I loved the shape of this light, and I paid attention to the ad's statement that it was NOT dimmable. I said to myself, "Why would I ever want to dim it? I'm looking for a lot of light." Once it was installed, I was thrilled at its look--I loved the circles and the way it did NOT shout, "Look at me." Then I turned it on and found that it's the kind of light that's almost industrial bright. I would not want to turn it on at a dinner or small party, because its brightness kind of grates on the eyes. It definitely lights up the room, and when I'm working on financial stuff or projects, I am glad I chose it. I would definitely buy it again, even knowing about its brightness.
