    • Not a direct fit for OEM radiator
It works and keeps things cool. However, it does not fit the original GM style radiator placement or the factory radiator isolators. For $8-10 they could sell some that that would make it a factory fit and I’d happily buy them or they could weld some 1/4” tall locators to the top and bottom of the bulkheads that would make for a tighter fit. Gonna have to do some modifying to my core support to raise the lower mounts a bit and possibly fabricate some different isolators to secure it. Had to modify upper retainer brackets to fit buy bending them and rotate the rubber bushings around the top to make it work

Nice piece for my K5. Better than stock and far cheaper. Everything in the description is correct, but they painted the aluminum silver for some reason! I don't know why you would do that. It came with a beautiful billet radiator cap, that doesn't seal well. One problem I ran into is that my Blazer originally had a 305 cu. in. engine which used a shorter radiator than this one, so I had to go to the junk yard and get the upper radiator hold-downs that bolt to the top of the core support and go over the tank seams because my factory small radiator had L-shaped brackets that bolted to the vertical surface of the core support, above the radiator. Then, I had to modify the fan shroud a bit with a small saw. I'm not complaining because I prefer the larger radiator. ... show more

Work great in my 85 K5, only had to skittles modify the top mount so the radiator cap would fit. Only took me a couple hours to pull old one and slap this one it. Also fixed all my cooling issues.

It was delivered damaged which is definitely a disappointment and a set back given the time spent waiting on it so I can use my vehicle and now I might have to return it and wait longer for a replacement.

    • Does what it needs
Works well in my old 86 K20 work truck. Only downside is that it isnt factory size so you need to get universal radiator hoses and will have to modify the hold down tabs to make it fot.
