Description

Radome enclosed low visual impact antenna, specifically designed for locations where aesthetics play an important role. Ideal for building fronts, historic buildings, protected areas and even single-family homes (balconies). It is a 7-element Yagi directional antenna, manufactured using Microstrip technology for UHF and BIII printed dipole and telescopic rods. Improved BIII response: Under difficult reception conditions, BIII reception can be improved by extending the telescopic antennas. The BOSS Tech system automatically controls the level of the received signal (either very high or very low) to always provide optimal output level. The new design using TForce technology makes this intelligent device even more versatile.

  • Easy to install antenna
As a previous dish user, I was able to utilize the mount and cable to install the new antenna. That made the new system setup VERY easy. The mounting connector that came with the system easily attached to the dish pole. The instructions that came with the system were very clear. I now get many more digital channels than I previously got with and inside antenna. ... show more

  • Picked up 20 more channels
I installed this in the attic just above the room with the Tablo TV-sharing device. (The Tablo converts the TV signal to IP for the home Ethernet/WiFi network so that programming can be picked up on other TVs in the house via a Roku or FireTV app.) The antenna replaced an old-timey TV antenna in the attic that was left over from analog TV days. The RG6 cable run was about 20 ft . When I rescanned with the Tablo, I picked up another 25 or so channels, 62 to 87. All except about 15 were 5-green level (excellent). On the good channels I haven't had any pixellation yet, but my experience has been limited. Because of the short cable run I did not install the PSU for the amplifier. Likewise, I did not use the boot because of the interior installation. The instructions could have been better, but I figured it out. There is one part not identified in the instructions. This is a threaded barrel connector that fit the ports on the PSU on one end, but is too small on the other end. It could be a reducer for some smaller coax fitting. ... show more

  • Little but packed with power!!!
I have other antennas and have been testing several types including Antop, clearstream 70+, and several others. This is my smallest antenna yet I pulled in a hard to pull in channel for my area and I finally have success using this! Out of the box I was thinking naw I doubt it but after hooking it up alone first time without the amplifier 25 channels then with amplifier 66. Do use the amplifier even though it says you don’t have to. This one is not as temperamental as the Antop and outperforms it. Antop is the next closest but I cannot run this through the amp that came with it, I am using the bypass port to run my antennas through. I decided to get different antennas to face different directions using a combiner so I do not need to have a rotator. I use the winegard app to find the directions in AR mode but antennaweb.org has a better map that I can use a pic of while up on the roof for the correct orientation. This one is mounted low for now about 9 feet in the air. I may move it up and see how it does. I was so impressed that I had to write a review since I have been testing antennas for over a month now using different configurations but starting always alone to see how it does in the direction I am using and to tune it. ... show more

  • It's ugly and awkward but it works as well as I hoped it would
I live in a major city but my unit is in a large, concrete multi-family with a steep hill outside my windows. I got very poor reception with the old amplified antenna I brought from my last home. Even though this unit specifies that it should be used outdoors I thought I could just set it behind my TV like I did with the last one. Definitely not. It's large, clunky, the position of the antennae is fixed, it's rounded on one side and strangely heavy on one end. It didn't pick up many channels when it was behind my TV on an inside wall. It would definitely be an eyesore indoors. My options for mounting it on my screened-in balcony were very limited so I wasn't sure I could find an appropriate spot to mount it. Fortunately my balcony has a utility closet. Even with concrete walls, a heat exchanger 18" away and a closed metal door it picks up every channel I need just by sitting it on a shelf in the balcony closet. I didn't rate it for installation because I didn't use the mounting hardware that came with it. ... show more

  • Works perfectly...
I installed it a week ago and so far, so good. I live just over 30 miles from a major city and can now receive over 70 channels. All major networks come in crystal clear. For me, installation was easy. Removed the satellite dish from the mount, used the mount for the antenna. Removed satellite cables and installed new coax to the antenna and preexisting cable TV junction block in the basement. I did install the amplifier, so I so I don't have any experience to say how much more it would boost reception. ... show more

  • Works!
I bought this after seeing it was recommended by the Antenna Man on Youtube. I placed it in mt attic, and it has been great. I like that it comes with the amp and LTE filter. All the mounting hardware was high quality, and it was easy to install.

  • Range is vital
Be certain you live within range. We didn’t and this was a total bust, though it was rather attractive.

  • Great picture quality!
Easy to install with a friend and the proper tools. I did have to run a line through my bedroom wall and up to the roof. But other than that very simple. Was able to catch about 30 channels in my area. It definitely beats paying a cable bill to get my local channels. Glad I was able to cut the cord. Purchase this again! ... show more
