Very solid suction cup mount, easy to adjust This TELESIN suction cup mount is very well made. The suction cup holds extremely well — I’ve used it on the windshield and dashboard, and it stays firmly in place without losing suction, even during driving. Both the camera and phone holders are very easy to adjust. The joints move smoothly but lock tight, so you can quickly set the perfect angle and be confident it won’t shift while recording. I went into this purchase not really expecting much but this magnet has really won me over on its usefulness. The ball head means that it can be mounted then angled in many different ways and the magnet is actually strong enough to hold my cameras (GoPro 8 and Max; singly, not together) on the car on the road up to at least 50 MPH. (I actually didn't even realize I was going that fast but was pleased to see that it was still with me with no signs of quitting.) Optimally, it should still be paired with some sort of tether, but that can definitely be more on the insurance side of things than an absolute necessity.

Very disappointing two days of use and the part where the ring base attaches to the suction base the adhesive to a pealing off so I don’t recommend this for heavy phones like iPhones pro max or similar sizes get something more sturdy this thing is cheaply made very low quality I will return this for sure

Amazing Grip and Versatility! I recently purchased the TELESIN Magsafe magnetic car mount and I’m super impressed. The suction is incredibly strong thanks to the electric vacuum lock, and the 360° rotation makes it very easy to adjust the angle. It holds my iPhone securely, even over bumps or when driving fast. I’ve also used it on mirrors and in the gym—works perfectly every time! The build quality feels premium and the magnetic connection is strong. Totally worth the price!

Picked this up to mount onto my car for driving videos around the area. Cleaned the area where the mount will go (back part of the car, and it suction felt sturdy. Did some initial tug tests to feel if it would slide or not. Mounted a Insta360 OneRS camera on top and away we went. The first time it was on everything went well. Speeds was in the 60 mph / 70 mph realm. Camera recorded the footage and stayed attached without any problems. Feeling good about it shared the experience with others in the group. Took it out a few more times and each time was a little different. The last time used though was the most worrying experience though. One suction cup was still attached but two of them was no longer attached. What made me concerned is that the Insta360 OneRS was not connected for the drive. If the camera was attached I wonder if it would have flown off. I can only speculate but it is a worry on losing my camera as well as the footage captured. One thing that is weird is the twist knob to tighten the camera to the mount does not seem to stay tight upon tightening. It is a standard type but it does not make it as easy for usage as it could. Once tightened you flatten it down and it seems like it is not as good as expected. Also the suction seems to leave rings on my wrap that is noticeable to the trained eye, I did not notice but others did. I will be using again and monitoring the device. It is a nice device but it is always worth monitoring.

Most, if not all, vehicle purposed infrared cameras have insufficient mounts that are typically designed to be placed right in the path of a parking lot crash, the front license plate. I wanted to adapt mine to be used via a GoPro mount (see photo). After purchasing the flat surface (a "Action 2 magnetic adapter", a GoPro mount gotten from Amazon, and double taping the camera to it, tethering the camera to the mount and the mount to the vehicle (that last tether, to the vehicle, isn't shown in the photo), I was set to test it out feeling that, even if the mount failed to hold the tethers would serve as a safety net. After making sure the mount and the van surface was alcohol clean, I configured the Telesin magnetic mount so that its frontal area was reduced (VERY quick and easy to do with this mount) and tested it up to 75 mph on the hood of my van, about 2 feet from the front windshield on a clear day with 15 mph northernly winds. It was rock solid and didn't move, even when my van was purposely riding over some potholed sections of road. The camera is about 1 inch square and weighs about 1-1/2 ounces so this really wasn't a test for a GoPro camera but, for a hood mount, I'd guess that it'd be totally okay at least up to 55 mph even though the vendor doesn't advise taking it past 35 mph. For me, though, it's perfect. It's a very well constructed mount along the build lines of the famous Ram mounts, though smaller. Ram, though a lot more expensive, has a true lifetime guarantee and you never have to mail the broken item to them as a photo is enough (I've used their guarantees twice and they work). But, for this price and my purpose, it's perfect...so far. ;)
