The ladder will bend a little too much when it's fully expanded to 9 feet. I feel uncomfortable when I was using it at my home attic, I had a 9-foot ceiling height. My attic is small, at least the opening is. I could not find a handyman to add a legitimate ladder and close the opening. I ended up using hard foam insulation and made my own covering. That still didn’t resolve getting up there. This ladder is absolutely perfect for this purpose. Being in a condo, space is a premium. And this is super light weight, super thin.
