  • My first telescopic ladder & I like it. It saves me time & hassle from using traditional ladder.
Size: 12.5 ft
The telescopic ladder is more heavier than I expected, but it just mean that it is solidly built and the aluminum isn’t thin at all. I needed a ladder that I can carry around the house and my backyard easily. I have a long traditional fixed ladder in my garage and it is a pain to get that out and put it back in. I don’t want that kind of hassle for some small tasks like adjusting my security cameras or changing batteries on my sensor lights on the top of my fences. This extension ladder fits that purpose and it can be stored easily anywhere. I also like the design of it, I can extend it completely in less than 30 seconds and collapse it in less than 1 minute. Watch one of the helpful videos, it is good to know that the ladder can be closed safely by pushing one tab first, and then hold on to the section and collapse it slowly while releasing the other tab. It is a lot safer than pushing both tabs and let the section slide down with force. It is not that tall, because I can’t climb all the way up to the top of this ladder like my traditional ladder due to safety warning on the ladder. However, my fence is only 8-foot tall, so this 12.5 ft tall ladder is more than enough for it. I am 160 lbs and I don’t feel any rattling or bending when I am on it. The only negative is the locking mechanism is made of plastic. Hope they will last for a long time because plastic may crack, deform or become brittle due to change of temperature, so it must be stored in indoor environment. I will update its true durability after a few more months of usage, so far I am very satisfied with its performance and reliability. ... show more

  • High reach with compact storage
Size: 12.5 ft
The media could not be loaded. For leaning ladders this one checks a lot of boxes. At full height you can reach a second story window while still keeping portability in a lightweight and maneuverable frame. At lowest height the ladder still offers a step ladder like use and can be stowed in a very small space. The aluminum construction is light and durable and shouldn’t have issues with rust. The telescope segment switches operate independently allowing you to click one and adjust your hand placement before clicking the second to avoid accidentally pinching fingers. Note: make sure a section is fully extended and locked in place before climbing. Also, make sure not to place your hands on the step below the one being retracted - this ladder doesn’t offer a slow close and will slam shut. At $120 MSRP it’s a great choice. ... show more

  • Great ladder with a quirk or two...
Size: 12.5 ft
This telescopic ladder is excellent! It's small, relatively light, strong for its size, and it fits in my work truck with barely any footprint. I can also get this ladder into places that are impossible for most other ladders. It does have a couple of quirks you should be aware of. Firstly, make sure you keep your fingers out of the way when retracting the ladder and make sure you train anyone who might use it so they don't get hurt. The other quirk that is kind of annoying is, sometimes the rungs stuck part way up while retracting... it fixes itself as the ladder goes down, but your first inclination is to fiddle with it, which puts your hand in danger of getting smashed... just retract it fully before you mess with trying to get it go all the way down. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could so I'm calling this one 9/10 Still a great ladder, just use it with a brain and you'll love it! ... show more

  • Very good ladder with a couple of reservations
Size: 12.5 ft
This is a very nice and sturdy ladder and appears well made. It extends step by step to be whatever height you need so it will be very useful around the house. However, it is an extension ladder and not a step ladder so you need to have something sturdy to lean it against before you can use it. It does not stand on its own. Each tread/step gets narrower (not as wide side to side) as it goes up. My biggest concern is that to telescope the ladder back down you have double slide latches (one on each side) that must be pushed for each step. The top of the ladder then collapses to the next step. The latches are a little stiff (as they should be) and if you are not careful to keep your hands and fingers out of the way, you could have a serious hand injury. So be careful when you are taking it down. Otherwise an excellent ladder and very well made. ... show more

  • Very nice, compact and strong
Size: 12.5 ft
I like this ladder. It’s compact so it slides in anywhere. It’s easy to set up and you choose the length you need. It’s exactly the kind of ladder any homeowner could use.

  • Much handier than my heavy A-frame step ladder
Size: 12.5 ft
The innovative and versatile design of a telescopic ladder makes it possible to be as tall as needed (up to 12.5ft) and then compress down to a surprisingly small size to fit into a closet. This LKFDFIA version is far lighter than my favorite articulating, A-frame, free-standing step ladder, and much easier to store. The lightness is partly because this is a straight ladder, like one-half of a step ladder, so it must lean against a wall when in use. The round tubing also contributes to the light weight. Today I needed to retrieve a tennis ball from the gutter above the garage, so I ran down to the basement and quickly carried the 20lb ladder up the stairs to the front of the house. The ladder is small enough to hold vertically and tuck under one arm while holding the hand grip on the underside. When I reached the driveway, I extended the ladder section by section until it was tall enough to reach the gutter. I did not need to open every section, but what I did need neatly double-clicked (one locking lever on each side) into place. When I was ready to put this back, I simultaneously pushed the left and right levers inward to compact the ladder. Then I wrapped the provided strap around the ladder to carry it back to the basement. I'm just over six feet tall at 190lbs, and the ladder felt solid under my feet as I climbed up and down. The latches on this model do not have colored tab locking indicators, but it is obvious enough to see when they lock into place. When closing, keep your hands on the side of the ladder and use your thumbs to activate the levers. This tip is repeated in triplicate with stickers on the ladder because it really hurts to slam a section of the ladder onto one's hand. Overall, I am thrilled with this ladder since it stores so easily and is quickly deployable at a moment's notice. ... show more
