Description

TEKTON S2 steel bits are press-fit into the socket for a straight, permanent connection that can't loosen over time. The 6-sided hexagonal tip is machined to precise tolerances for an exact fit with hex fasteners. Its chamfered end easily slides into fasteners, reducing wear. The extra-long bits allow you access deep into narrow, recessed areas and come stored in a sturdy, clearly marked case.

This was my first purchase from tekton and I immediately fell in love with the brand. Nice case, although it’s way too big. Eats up an entire drawer of Box at work, and it could be a lot smaller. But it’s big and red and attracts the attention of my coworkers who are all addicted to Milwaukee tools. I use these sockets for various operations in a machine shop, and it exceeds all my needs! I would continue on with a raving review about how tekton made my day and I’ll be a loyal customer forever, but my next purchase, a couple adjustable crescent wrenches, were worse than harbor freight tools. I have all types of allen wrenches including a couple of very expensive allen socket sets. Lately I have had several times that I need one much longer than I had. I finally just purchased the Tekton allen set These seem very well made and work great. I have only used two of them so far, but very pleased with them and the price. I have several different tekton tools from long ratcheting hand wrenches to hammers. Yet to have any problem from any of the. I would recommend and will buy again. ... show more

Great set & extremely durable for a 6" hex. I would have given 5 stars had they made the case to hold both sides of sockets when its open. I've dumped the lid half out a dozen times.

I have been buying Tekton tools for about two years now. I have a mix of Craftsman, Snapon, Proto and Matco . Tekton is on par with all of them, and definitely better than the new Craftsman, which I refuse to buy anymore. I have yet to dislike any tool from them, and definitely like the cost vs Snapon. I still buy certain items from the bigger guys, but so far I’m pleased with the hex kit. It has good reach, great fit and doesn’t seem to twist much under loads. ... show more

They feel great, came in good packaging with durable hinges, has ALL the allens I need in one case. They feel very solid and the allens don't feel loose in the slightest. I havent used them yet..... lmfao I hate when people say that in a review, why review it then?? But I have used them and for reaching in to get to BUS lugs, set screws, and odd places, man I dont regret this in the least. And the case is nicely laid out. I am a professional mechanic and have been since 1977. My tool box is loaded with high end and priced tools. Primarily for convenience. We did not have an Amazon to buy tools from. We had Snap On, Mac, Marco or buying from the local huckster. I have been using this set on my race motorcycles. Love it. Strong, great fit in the fasteners and accurate with the torque wrenches.
