I’ve had a larger socket set that I used to carry around. Wanted something with just the basics, without the double sizes. This was/is just that. I appreciate the size, color, durability, etc. HOWEVER, there could be improvements. Mainly two for me. 1, make every piece a snap-in for the case. I don’t like how half of the pieces are loose, so if you open the case backwards, all the sockets come loose. 2, better spark plug socket. The rubber in the socket doesn’t grip the spark plugs, so I am left with having to manually pick out the spark plug. 4/5 stars. ... show more

Everything from a valve cover gasket job to an oil change this little cheap box of tools held their own through rebuilding the engine on this Accord I recently bought. I used a braker bar for really stubborn bolts but even loosening pretty tight bolts, it never failed. The only thing I would improve on is the fact that the spark plug socket is NOT magnetic. Came as a surprise and made a 10 min job a 30 min job with a trip to the parts store. 9/10 would recommend! ... show more

Bought this to have a spare kit in one of my trucks, been using it a lot and nothing has broken except the cheap plastic tabs that hold the case shut which is to be expected for the price. The ratchet is surprisingly smooth and doesn't slip, and didn't break when I put a pipe on the end of it and used it as an impromptu breaker bar, a nice arrangement of 6 and 12 pointed sockets which saved my rear when my driveshaft bolts loosened up on a roadtrip. Overall would recommend but prepare for the case to come apart if you are tossing it around a lot. Also get some white fingernail paint and smear it in the size markings, it will make them a lot easier to read. ... show more
