This is my second Tek brush - the first one I had was amazing for many years, but it was time to replace it. I got a different size this time and I'm even more in love. I got the size for fine hair and it's perfect. These brushes are amazing, they don't snap, pull, or break your hair. The quality is superior. I will continue to buy these brushes in the future.

This is an amazing brush. Long lasting, durable, well made, and using natural materials that complement hair chemistry. The wooden bristles on this brush are naturally anti-static, whereas plastic is static-inducing. They also absorb some of the oils on your scalp and transfer it down the shaft. This particular model, because of its rectangular shape, gives the scalp a massage that feels like one of those scalp massagers. Heavenly! And this brings needed blood flow to the scalp, where healthy hair begins. I love this model because it is very travel-friendly so I can bring it along anywhere I go. It works great on long and thick hair. I have tried both the round shape and rectangular shape Tek brushes, and figured out that round brushes are better for curly hair (enhances volume and curl shape by bringing hair to one point) and rectangular is best for straight (it literally brushes your hair into straight lines, leaving the ends separated). This is one of my favorite beauty tools, and I won’t be without a Tek ever again. This brush makes a really nice present also : ) The packaging is very nice and the company is eco-conscious, still hand-making brushes in Italy.

I am 79 yrs old & have very fine and lots thin hair… this brush would be perfect if it only had 3 rows of bristles… the bristles are nice & not scratchy & the handle feels good … but there’s too much brush for a person like me who doesn’t have much hair… (I may just cut off the 2 outer rows of bristles- haha)…

I bought the same brush (but in a gorgeous purple, rather than the "natural" color) more than 10 years ago, at a TJ Maxx/Marshall's store. The ONLY issue I had was, after several years the rubber disk holding the wooden pins separated from the wood handle and eventually just gave out. The handle itself? Still in perfect condition, as were the pins. So I am sad I had to buy a new one, but glad they are still available. It's a very "soothing" brush to use (I have medium length "thick but fine" hair), and it's beautifully made.

I have long curly hair, her hobby is making knots. I’m not a fan and prone to migraines so life’s been fun. I’ve been using a plastic comb for years have tried various different wooden combs/ brushes but keep coming back to this plastic thing because it’s the most effective if painful af Sometimes I’ll spend a hour detangling with my fingers because it’s easier to do then get a massive headache with a comb. Anyway long story short, I’ve used this for a day and it’s changed my life. Areas that would pull and cause pain it’s flows through easily. It’s so soft, it’s not too big, I’ve already thrown out my comb because this brush is as good as I hoped and now I don’t have to go back to the land of plastic. So buy it if you’re on the fence, I’m sure as heck happy I finally did!
