Excellent gift for my 2 & 4 year old grandsons (who weigh nearly the same). They absolutely loved it and played till exhaustion. It is perfectly sized for them. I would guess at 6-8 years old it might be a bit small but still fun to spin around on - it can definitely handle the weight of bigger kids, it just has a shorter pendulum bar so the littles don’t end up too high off the ground. It is very solid and stable & spins very smoothly (as long as you don’t over tighten the bolts). ALL TOOLS ARE INCLUDED but if you have a ratcheted wrench with the two socket sizes needed it would go MUCH faster. And maybe empty the nuts and bolts ONLY AS YOU NEED THEM into the box lid so you don’t lose them-it has EXACTLY what you need and no extras. This item is powder coated to prevent rusting and solidly made to last for years. It could be for indoor or outdoor. I like the stopper under the seats so the actual seat doesn’t hit the ground (no sitting in the mud on a wet day or pinched fingers if they’re holding the back of the seat). It is not tippy at all. In fact if you only had 1 kid I bet you could tie down a weighted teddy bear, a backpack/bag to the opposite side of the same weight as the 1 kid and they could still use it very safely - just make sure it’s tied down very well and not just sitting on the seat or your little will slam to the ground when it falls off. All in all I would absolutely purchase this again and I would highly recommend for active littles between maybe 18 months and 6 years old. My kids are seriously in love. I’d say the only bad part about this thing is it’s hot outside and my kids won’t come in. It was a little hard to put together but it’s sturdy and that’s with a pack of boys beating it up all day. It was a great addition to the park I’m growing in my backyard.

I was concerned this outdoor toy might be difficult to assemble but it was actually simple. The directions were clear, all the parts fit together beautifully .All the parts well labeled including the hardware were nicely organized ,labeled and also included the tools necessary to assemble it. Our yard is not completely flat but we easily moved it until we found the best spot. Our grandkids are 6 and 3 and have had a lot of fun on it .When the kids got pretty wild going up and down fast ,sometimes one of the legs would lift of the ground . We anchored the three legs with U shaped stakes and no more lifting. I think if the children were closer in size and weight that probably wouldn't be necessary. Well made and well packaged product.
