I'll admit, at first I had a tough time with these clamps. They clamped on the desk fine, but the part that holds the Styrofoam head...I just could not get that to work. No matter what I did, my Styrofoam head kept moving. Then.... ...I realized that I had put on the holder on backwards! My goof, but the instructions weren't all that great. In any case, now that I do have them on correctly -- they work great! They aren't exactly pretty, but they don't need to be -- they need to be functional, which these are. I'll probably end up getting a second order at some point, as they are a good value.

The item itself doesn't seem very well made and sometimes falls off of the table while combing but if you tighten it enough it's good.

This product came with no instructions at all - no photos, either. There are several ways you could put this device together. Even when assembled correctly my Styrofoam mannequin flopped around on the stand. Once a hat was installed on it, the head rolled backwards and looked weird. The "cure" was to run layers of masking tape all around the part of this head stand that is inserted into the mannequin head. Keep adding more tape gradually until the mannequin fits the head stand tightly. This will prevent the mannequin from rolling around. The actual plastic components of this head stand are quite solid and they do allow adjustments as to the angle/tilt of the head. In the end, it is working OK.

I used it for cosmetology state board. It was east to assemble and sturdy. I don’t have pictures that was months ago! However you will not be disappointed for the price … it gets the job done

Very bad quality. The stand snapped in half while the rollers were cooling in the wig. I heard the canvas wig block with the wigs and rollers fall on the floor. I went into the room and the block was laying on the floor with the part that the block sit on snapped off the base. This was my first time working with a totally plastic wig clamp stand. I would recommend this product. I didn’t even set the rollers in the wig on this stand. I only set the wig block on this stand to let the rollers cool.
