Solid construction in general, and great for the price point. I'm not an IT guy, but I can't really understand what people are getting to justify the much more expensive racks out there. I wasn't sure that I'd need this much depth for my needs (most of my music-based rack gear is about half this depth), but the extra space is great for routing cables and hiding scooby snacks from my kids. Side panels are super convenient for accessing cables, and the locking front is great. Added a lighting kit and it looks pretty cool. I have not needed the fans, but they seem like average PC style fans.

Bought this to house new network equipment that I'd bought over the holidays and make my network/server installation "official" after years of stuff laying all over my office. The rack was easy to put together, although after assembling I found that one of the corners actually got bent either at the factory or during shipment (there wasn't obvious damage to the box that I could determine). This was disappointing, but luckily it was on a back corner and whatever exposed metal there is could be covered up with a black marker or similar. I mounted it to the wall by first mounting attaching vertical 2x4s to the studs and then attaching the rack to them, so mounting was straightforward and allows the rack to ventilate from the back as opposed to be mounted directly to the wall. Is this a bullet-proof rack made of thick gauge steel? No, but it's not priced as one either. The smoked glass door is nice and increases the wife-approval rating of the rack :) I replaced the single, loud ventilation fan with dual USB-connected fans that are quite quiet, but the main reason why is because this is mounted in my work area. If this rack wasn't being installed in a quiet environment, the included fan seem to ventilate well. With a combination of standard rack mounting and shelves that I purchased for non-rackable equipment, the fit and function of the rack seems great and exactly what I needed.

Out of the box, it seemed a bit flimsy. But once mounted to the wall, it's been dead solid. I used this t mount all the A/V equipment for my home theater, as well as some networking gear. Mine is mounted in a closet, so access to the rear of components is a pain, but that's not the unit's fault. Overall, it's sturdy and looks fantastic.

Works exactly how you need it to. The specs match what it says online and it was simple to install and mount to the wall. It can hold all the equipment I planned for it and the fans are very quiet.

Rack was in perfect condition but box shipped without install hardware or key(s). Opted to overnight screws to get rack put together rather than wait for exchange but still missing key. Seems sturdy and nice quality. Using for AV equipment and others have said, does get a little tight at the back with longer depth equipment. I personally haven't had an issue with sound level on the fan - which it ships with 1 preinstalled, but there is room/mounting holes to add a second. Removable side panels are nice for easy access.
