This was a great purchase. My son didn't end up using it as much as I expected, but at no fault of the punching bag. I actually found that I was having just as much fun playing with it, with him. It's surprisingly strong and durable, and can handle my adult punches (not full force, just playing with the kiddo). It's fun, and sturdy and built well. The gloves that come with it are basically useless, very cheaply made, and seem like a small step up from disposable. I wouldn't count on using them if you or your kid need gloves, but they aren't necessary to use the punching bag. It's been fun, and I'll keep it around to see if my son is more interested as he gets older. Recommend! Especially if you live in an apartment or small space and have a kid with a lot of energy.

This is a great punching bag for younger children. If you punch super hard the pole will come out so not good for like 10 and older. When my son using it though it works just fine and he punches it pretty hard. I love the way it bounces back. It’s very cute! The punching bag is also made with good quality material. Nice product!

My son loves it. Hell I find myself playing it with myself lol. Simple to put together, easy to put together. I've kicked this thing pretty hard showing my kid how much of a ninja I am and the spring at the bottom bounces back every time. Only small complaint is the gloves wear quickly and the plastic knob that you twist to secure at any particular height feels cheap and easy to snap.

All-around great gift. However, it does bounce back. It stated that it goes back to its original place but the ball and pole sprung back and hit him in the face. The ball is soft so it did not hurt!
