Don't buy this item. The turntable is not stable. The strobe lights do not work. Speakers are poor quality. Could not play a vinyl or CD on this system. with out it skipping Returned this item.

I bought this item as an upgrade to my previous turntable sound system. I also bought the upgraded needles. I'm satisfied. The sound is much fuller. The turntable and the CD player have clear stereo sound. The tuner is disappointing. It only picks up the stronger stations and there is no FM Stereo. The tuner dial is not lit and the station indicator is very hard to see. The speakers have decent sound for their size but the connecting wires are short. In general I am pleased, however this is not a good unit for kids or heavy handed folks, it is lightweight and will probably break if not handled carefully. ... show more

The turntable platter did not float, it fell/dragged on the deck. Thought maybe that was a transport feature that I would fix upon receiving. Emailed the crap chinese customer support twice, zero response. Played some CDs and they sounded great, never tested the digital aspect since the most important vinyl aspect was trash. I did not even had this for 5 months when it randomly stopped working. The clock light comes on when plugged in but none of the buttons work and there is no way to turn on or change functions given absolutely no buttons including the on/volume button do not work. I can’t remove a cd that was left in there and the remote control doesn’t do anything either. Of course the return window closed only a month after purchase...so I am left with a nearly $300 record player that does nothing. So upset ... show more
