I absolutely love this cabinet! First, it has weight to it, unlike others I've ordered. Second, easy to assemble. Third, and most important, it looks so nice in my bathroom! I have a white vanity, but my fixtures and mirror are brushed nickel, so the all white cabinets just didn't add anything to the space. With the glass design on the (hinged) doors, it just pulls it all together. It has a simple and clean look, with just enough "bling" to make it look elegant. Absolutely would reccomend! One con, which is important to note before trying to install it, is that the screws on the back, scratched my wall when we were trying to position it. Partially my fault because we just kind of slid it here and there to get it right, but that should be taken into account when hanging it. **Simple fix, I covered the screws with a litter painters tape and it was all good! I would buy 10 more if I needed them, regardless of the screw issue!! 😁❤️😁 ... show more

The Good: This is a decent little shelf unit. Many hangable shelves are much more expensive than this and this one comes with a lot more personality. This is just slightly smaller than what you expect, but will look just like the picture. It holds several toiletry products, 3 toilet paper rolls and 3 cans of smell-good sprays with ease. Assembly took very little time and seemed somewhat self-explanatory. My 3 year old assisted me in the assembly, if that tells you anything. For a hanging shelf, I'm not sure much more needs to be said. It does the job and looks nice. The Meh: There were some paint globs around the top of the windows (which wasn't noticeable in my lighting once hung) and the knob holes were not perfectly aligned, but they're close (the one on the right is slightly lower and to the right). It doesn't bother my wife, but drives me a little insane with my OCD tendencies. I bought different knobs at a local home store as the ones that come with this are cheap plastic things that my 8 year old loved and I hated. If you're going to replace those, don't put them on as they'll leave a silver ring on your doors after being removed (and if the other knobs don't fit the same circumference against the paint, you'll always see the rings unless you paint over them). I'm undecided if I would recommend this to a friend or not... My friend in a starter home...? maybe. My parents...? probably not. It works fine in my house and looks nice, not tacky or cheap. The assembly went along fine with picture instructions. We missed one picture detail and installed the backer board backwards…with a reinforcing board facing out. We discovered our error when the cabinet would not sit flush on the wall and we reversed it. Other than that, assembly and installation. Cabinet is petite but that has a better look than a cabinet that sticks way out into the room. Great for guest bath supplies. ... show more

I bought the espresso color cabinet bc of the bronze inlay in the windows and because it would fit well in the tight space above my toilet. My plan all along was to sand it & paint it to match my bathroom cabinet but I wasn’t sure how it would turn out given the materials it’s made from. But it turned out beautifully! I sanded it down, painted it the same teal as the bathroom vanity, and switched out the knobs to match the vanity too. While I obviously made a lot of changes to fit my vision, this cabinet was beautiful straight out of the box, it didn’t need any enhancement to look great on a wall! It was also easy to assemble, which I did myself. I did need 2 people to hang it though. All in all, super happy with the purchase! You won’t be disappointed! ... show more

Not really too sturdy, but fine and looks great on my wall. I put handles on that match the rest of my bathroom. Don't be put off by the size of the box it comes in. The final, assembled cabinet is virtually twice as wide as the box. I really think it looks great.

This is the second Elegant Home Fashions cabinet that I have purchased. I use both of them as decorative pieces in low traffic areas. They are not meant to withstand constant usage. Assembly takes one to two hours and is relatively easy. All of the piece parts (screws, cams, cam covers, anchors, etc.) came in a nice package with individual labels. The instructions are easy to follow. As several other reviewers mentioned, I put the doors on before attaching the back so that the doors would be aligned. Also, the template was wrong -- the holes were too far apart for the holes in the cabinet. PROS: * Looks great - it is a very unique design in a very dark brown color (almost black in low lighted areas). The amber mosaic glass accents in the doors add a nice highlight to the bathroom. * Provides both an open shelf (for decorative items) and semi-hidden interior shelfs for storing cleaning supplies * Interior shelf is adjustable to three different heights * Well packed to survive the shipment CONS: * It's pressed wood construction * Assembly isn't hard, but does require some attention to detail and time to put it together * Instructions need to be updated -- I put the doors on before attaching the back so that the doors would be aligned to the bottom shelf and be held by the magnet. * Template holes were too far apart for the holes in the cabinet. * The back panel comes in three pieces with two plastic inserts to hold them together -- it would have been better for them to provide one continuous back piece. * Glass on the door is clear -- it would have been better if the glass was opaque. Who wants to see cleaning supplies or TP showing through the glass? All in all, the finished product looks very nice. I would have given this 5 stars, considering its low cost for the value provided. However, deducting one star for the incorrect template and one star for the out-of-sequence instructions that were provided. ... show more
