I bought three Durabooks for three of our grandchildren. The Durabooks are older r8300 series; Two with Windows 7 and one with Windows 10. Each of the Durabooks (msinfo32 said 2013 - 2015 made) came with six Gig of memory and roughly 245 GB SSDs. Speed tests showed they were somewhat burdened, but modestly functional. (I wouldn't have tried Roblox on them, though.) I installed the new TEAMGROUP Elite 16 GB memories and TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 1 TB SSDs in to each, using the newest unit's as the standard OS that I cloned. (I used an Amazon-purchased WAVLINK USB3.0 to SATA 3 adapter <powered version> for the clonings via Macrium Reflect.) The upgrades were simple enough, as Durabooks are "military grade" and made for field repair / upgrades. Did I need 16gb ram for my i5 x230? Did I WANT 16gb ram? Yes! Yes I did! This was a good price for the performance and it even can be justified for when you don’t need it. Now I’m running Linux but if you run windows 8gb is often barely enough now so 16gb in dual channel is really helpful. Worth it

Came in fairly simple packaging and installation was as easy as it can get. I upgraded my RAM from 8gb to 16gb. The difference is quite noticeable
