dont know if its the memory or my setup (fx6300 and gigabyte 970a-d3sp, supports up to 64gb and 2000mhz) but trying to run this memory on its rated 1600mhz instantly results in boot failures and crashes, and throws fails when testing with memtest86. i had it exchanged thinking it was faulty but the replacements were the same story. i then memtested every stick with every slot on my board one at a time thinking it was a bad slot, but every time it passed. finally on a whim i forced the clock to 800mhz and retested with all 4 installed, passed. upped to 1066, passed. 1333, passed. the next step is back to 1600 so i just left it on 1333 and it seems to be stable and working now, hopefully it will stay that way. very strange behavior, never had this much (read: any) trouble trying to get ram to run on its stock rated clock. timings and everything else are all stock too, i dont bother changing or overclocking ram since it seems pointless for 99.9% of use cases. hopefully its just a quirk and will remain stable at this lower speed. ... show more

Team group is always very stable at least in my opinion I've had no trouble even knowing that these are DDR3 at 1800 they work pretty darn well now there is no heat sink on these but for a $1.50 and a few days of waiting you can pick up a pair to put on white black blue or green your choice of colors from another third party vendor As I said I get pretty darn good performance for the cost too bad they didn't have the 2400 at least this particular store did not ... show more
