I don’t have any way to determine it’s accuracy but it is extremely easy to use and it does give different readings for random water samples

Very simple. Just turn it on and dip it into water about 1 inch. While TDS won't test chemicals and can't differentiate between minerals, it's good to have to test your RO System. When you first install your RO though, the TDS will be higher as it's flushing away particles in the filters itself. Bottled water will show higher TDS since it has minerals added. We bring this out to eat so we can see if restaurants are giving us tap water or not. Even though it can't separate minerals, we know if the TDS is above 60ppm or so, it's probably tap water. Highly doubt they'll pour bottled water for you. Also, I wouldn't cap it right away after testing, since that could grow mold.

I return this. I did a comparison with hard water and soft water, and there was not much of a difference. I also a dip it in water for reading take it out, dry it off re-dipped in the same water, and the reading was different. I cannot rely on this.

The one that came with my pitcher rusted out. I didn't want to pay the price of the replacement. This one was less expensive and works well.

Measurements are all over the place. You measure the water and you get some good readings and some high readings from the same cup.
