    • I was impressed I gotta' admit ....
Although this may be a "budget" or "beginners" range pH/TDS meter brand, and it is. I gotta' say this one has held up exceptionally compared to the many others I've owned over the past few years. Yes, like most if not all pH meters they do lose calibration after a bit, but this little one has held up and passed the test so far. I use this pH pen at least 20x a day and the TDS meter a little less. Only had to recalibrate 1 time in 38 days since 1st use. I've also been using it along with another "higher" quality and priced pH/TDS meter and they have ran very close to each other with this product showing only 0.12 difference/off from "higher" quality brand within that 45 days. But for the price I couldn't pass this kit up for a back up or just a 2nd kit to have. So I guess I got lucky with getting a "good" one from a "budget" company some would say. ... show more

Ok so at first i was very upset with the ph meter because it was all twacked out. I attempted to calibrate it the first time and made it worse. After doing a calibration on it a second time, now, i can say it work ok. It's still not highly accurate but close enough for my plants and anything else i might want to use it for. That being said, if you do buy this product, be prepared to do some calibrating, probably somewhat often. It states when ph meter electrode its in dry air for long periods of time it will need calibrating, frequent use of will need calibrating, the CAL button was pressed and the electrode was exposed to air for a while, it will need calibrating. The written instructions that came with this product do not explain how to use this item and very much detail, and there's no way to contact anybody about it. Anybody buying this may need to reconsider and buy a different item

Have not used yet. 6.8 package to calibrate was opened and granules are inside the box. I will add to the review once i try and set it up.

The instructions need to be clearer, but so far it seems good. I don't have anything to compare to see if it is reading correctly but I did calibrate it and seems to be good so far.

These things are very handy to have around! When you have to check pH or tds! Extremely well made and durable! They have batteries already which is awesome and they last a very long time too! The calibration was on point! Give quick readings on the fly! Would highly recommend!
