    • Great entry level sound bar
I have been hearing abound sound bars and how good they can be for a while now. I finally decided to get this one and try it out. I have a TCL TV so I wanted to stick with the same brand of soundbar. The install went easy enough, I used the HDMI (eARC) port on my TV and it found it instantly. The TV muted the internal speakers and now only outputs through the sound bar. I don't have my TV on the wall yet, it's still on a stand. this soundbar barely fits under the TV and even blocks the receiver. I had to add a few furniture pads under the TV's feet to give me enough clearance so the soundbar can fit under it and I can use the remote to control the TV. The sound quality sounded not good at 1st. I heard little pops kind of like static. I tried reseeding the HDMI cable and even tried another cable and it did the same thing. I installed the TCL app, (and setup an account at the TCL site). The app found the soundbar and did a calibration, after that it sounded much better. since plugging in the sound bar, the TV always turns on with the sound on. When I was using the internal speakers it would remember the mute between restarts. There is only a single light bar at the top of the soundbar to tell you volume levels and it changes color to indicate what input it's using. There is no way to tell if certain features are on or off unless you look in the app, this is mainly for surround enhance or dialog enhance. Also changing the profile (music, movie, sports) can be done with the remote, but it's best to do through the app so you know for sure which mode you are on. Overall not a bad entry into the soundbar world. It's affordable, and it works. I no longer need to put my TV volume to 35+ to hear what I am watching I can leave the soundbar down to 10-15 and hear it just fine. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this soundbar, and I must say, it’s exceeded all my expectations. The audio quality is simply outstanding— very clear and deep, rich bass that make every movie and song an immersive experience. It has two channels, and you can easily tell them apart. Whether it’s for watching action-packed films or enjoying music, the surround sound effect is highly impressive, makes you feel like sitting in theatre. I was watching blue eye samurai with it, it definitely adds on the watching experience. The design is sleek and modern, with a minimalist aesthetic that blends perfectly with any home decor. Its compact size doesn’t compromise its performance, and the build quality feels premium, making it not only functional but also a stylish addition to my bedroom. It does not have extra lights in the darkness. As for the price, it’s truly a fantastic deal. This one offers excellent value for money without compromising on features or sound performance. I have only had it for a little while now but so far I really like it. I have a TCL Roku TV so it was super easy to get it set up via the e-ARC cable. While its not a 5.1 surround sound system for around $70 it sounds great and looks good up on the tv stand. The app is easy to use as well. Would definitely recommend for under $100 ... show more

It came with good setup instructions which made it easy to install. It is difficult to measure the attributes of audio waves without expensive equipment, but to my old ears, the sound from this soundbar sounded better than the sound from the TV alone. For the price, this is a really nice sound bar. It’s super easy to set up with a tcl Roku tv. I played around with the settings for sound and really enjoy it now. You sure can get much better sound but have to spend quite a bit more on a speaker to get super rich full sound

TCL product is what I consider the worst sound bar I have ever owned, this is no exaggeration. First thing it would not connect to the TV through the UDMI cord, the only way I got it to connect was through bluetooth.
