So some of the reviews for this soundbar seem to suggest there is not enough bass. Trust me, from someone who has a full 5.1 surround sound system in another room, I can confidently say this soundbar has a decent amount of bass. No it will not shake the house or you will not feel a boom in your chest from that action movie, but for the price point, it sounds quite good for a medium sized room. The sound itself is good and sounds of hi-fi quality. I bought this soundbar coming from rtings rating site and I'm not disappointed with this soundbar. I bought this fully expecting there will be little to no dolby surround sound effect, and its true. You aren't going to magically hear noises coming from your side or behind you, but you do hear those effects, just coming from the generally area of the soundbar. My biggest complaint is how the soundbar attaches to the wall. It slopes down slightly and triggers my OCD. Other than that, I would say this is an excellent soundbar assuming it will last me a while. ... show more

Love it. Way better sound than tv speakers. A bit short on loud volume but it's not advertised as a large system. Excellent value. Super easy setup with the provided optical cord. Excellent value for what you get. Highly recommended for a basic upgrade to your entertainment system.

I saw a couple reviews saying this off-brand soundbar delivered great TV sound for a low price and decided to order one for myself. It lived up to the notices. Previously I was having difficulty with low dialogue volume and excessive background music volume on streaming movies, especially those on Netflix and Amazon. This soundbar essentially solved the problem. We no longer find ourselves having to run the volume control like we're driving across town when watching a movie. The built-in subwoofers are much better than i expected as well; you should not need a separate subwoofer in a normal-sized room. I don't have much sense of the advertised Dolby Atmos compatibility, but it's there, which it isn't in any competitively priced soundbar from other companies. Has HDMI-ARC connection, which means you can control the volume with your TV remote. Also has optical audio connection if you need one. ... show more

Look, this thing could have been amazing for the price. It's by far the cheapest sound bar and has super easy integration to TCL TVs. It actually sounds decent when comparing it to tv speakers. That's a low bar but that's pretty much the only reason to buy this. Here's the issues: - there is for some reason a blinking light every time new sound starts playing. It's extremely annoying. - the subwoofer constantly disconnects - the soundbar itself randomly doesn't connect on startup or disconnects after a while, especially when using a Chromecast with Google tv for example - support told me to return it after it took like 2 weeks of telling me to turn it off and on again - Amazon doesn't even let you return it due to "hazardous materials" That being said, I'm glad I only spent like $90 on this piece of trash cause I'd be way more annoyed if I spent more money. sound bar isnt that much louder than the TV, subwoofer doesnt connect to the sound bar. setup is easy, if a person is connecting to a Roku Tv setup is Auto. bluetooth connects to phone, but not to TV. if the system broke or was stolen i wouldnt buy it again.
