I buy protein powder in bulk because, well... it's expensive. Between me, hubs, and a teenage son, we get a 5lb bag on subscribe and save to try and cut costs. The problem is after the initial use or two, the 'ziplock' seal on this big bag no longer closes. It's super annoying to have to use a chip clip to keep it closed, and I refuse to switch to a different brand just because they might send it in a tub. THIS was my solution! It's perfect for 5lbs of protein powder, or flour, or any other dried good you buy in bulk and want to store. The best part is I wanted to keep it in a deep kitchen drawer, and more often than not, something that stores 5lbs of any thing dry is taller and narrow. This was the opposite - shorter but wider.
