I was so pleased with the first container that I purchased a second one a year later. The aesthetic and design of these containers initially attracted me to them. We typically buy a 15 lb bag of rice at a time, and I wanted an attractive container to store it in rather than leaving the open bag out. Each container easily stores one of those 15 lb bags of rice. I appreciate the suction feature on the lid, which functions effectively. Despite washing them several times, the seal remains as secure as it was initially. The inclusion of a measuring cup scoop is very convenient, as it eliminates the need to dirty another utensil when cooking rice. The containers fit perfectly under my pantry shelves, slide in and out effortlessly, and are lightweight enough to lift when accessing the rice. Cleaning them is straightforward, and I let them air dry overnight, so they are ready to refill the next day. These containers are user-friendly, easy to clean, keep the rice fresh, and add a touch of style to the kitchen. Now all I need are some decorative labels to distinguish which type of rice is in each container.

Was this tub a great value in general? Heck no, not even close. But does it do the one single thing that I bought it to do? Yes! I've been making whole wheat einkorn bread for a while now and decided to stop buying little baby bags of 2-10 pounds of flour at a time when I could save quite a chunk by buying 2×20 pound bags instead. The problem? Airtight storage that large but also no larger than it has to be (iow not floor storage on wheels with loads of wasted space inside). After combing the web for recommendations, options, and tub dimensions while buying a few that looked promising, I eventually had to revisit this TBMax version… which was literally the last bullet on my list because it's so blasted expensive for a top-sealing design that I neither like nor trust. But… It turns out that the TBMax tub was practically made just for these 20-pound bags of flour that I now have. So whaddya do? You write a very happy review with pictures for the next person while complaining about the cost, that's what you do! Oh yeah, and steal a strap from your husband's shop to make sure it stays sealed. If this tub had been cheaper, I'd've tried it much sooner and would be willing to buy another one for when my orders of 40 pounds (two 20-pounders) of flour arrive. Since it's so blasted expensive, though, I'll stick with separating out one bag when initially storing. In final thoughts, I just wish it wasn't so expensive or else that you could get a discount when buying two. It'll do the job (with an insurance strap), though.

The holder for the scoop broke but I never planned on using the scoop. The scoops also came with damaged handles. The container is air tight and I use two of these for 25lb bag of flour from costco.

I buy protein powder in bulk because, well... it's expensive. Between me, hubs, and a teenage son, we get a 5lb bag on subscribe and save to try and cut costs. The problem is after the initial use or two, the 'ziplock' seal on this big bag no longer closes. It's super annoying to have to use a chip clip to keep it closed, and I refuse to switch to a different brand just because they might send it in a tub. THIS was my solution! It's perfect for 5lbs of protein powder, or flour, or any other dried good you buy in bulk and want to store. The best part is I wanted to keep it in a deep kitchen drawer, and more often than not, something that stores 5lbs of any thing dry is taller and narrow. This was the opposite - shorter but wider. Just right for a drawer, and now it stays fresh until the very last protein shake is made!

I was looking for something bigger for my flour but settled for this because larger containers didn’t have seal to keep weevils out. It’s easy to open a quick touch on the top and it either seals or opens. I really am glad I purchased this product. Will be looking to add more of this container to my kitchen.

The container is great I just wish I knew that it didn’t hold 25lbs. I bought this to store my rice which I buy in Sam’s club and the entire rice bag is 25lbs. I was hoping I can store my rice in this container versus leaving half the bag open in my pantry. Also the top takes up some room so less space is available. Anyway overall the deal is great, looks very nice, easy to open and I washed it with warm water and soap and it dried very well with no water marks.
