Honestly, this has got to be the weirdest thing I have ordered. It is a very specific intended artwork piece for me so I will be choosing each design carefully to display. I usually work on silicone (artificial) skin and have done a few tattoos in the past, but bridging the gap between the flat canvas and the curvature of a person is something that every artist will have to transition to eventually and that's why I got it. This really does give a general understanding of where and how to place a stencil, and follow through. This is an advanced level item that if you are honing a particular skill or look will have a nice art piece to display after it is done. This is great for knuckles and fist tattoos as it has the most detail and notable surface shown, the rest is basic form fit foam and does bend in the middle. Stretching the skin in a curve is something all artists learn, but if your apprentice is having trouble or you want to ramp it up, this is what to get. Not much reusability, so I will plan a nice sleeve piece prior. Interesting item, but it should help with some skill test. Downside: It was folded in half and crudely packaged and has some ripples in the "skin" that just take away with what you are trying to do and well it kind of does look like a sex toy though and is a little wierd to have, but once some designs get placed should look nice as a display or wall item. The thin skin is good to keep depth at proper, but one could wrap other flat skins in certain areas with rubber bands at the end and reuse it a few times before you commit to the design. Wrinkled in places it shouldn't is hard to ignore, but it's something I will work around. I think it's unique and a conversational starter and you may have side looks from roomates when you open it. like this over the practice skin as it gives the curves that you work with on the actual body. silicone is made of good material. fun to play with and easy to use. it also is pretty big. so you can test out multiple tattoos in different spots unless your practicing a sleeve. great product

So this product came in folded in half and put into a bubble bag. This causes alot of ripples in the middle area of the arm. You have to try amd reshape the area. The skin is thin formed around a inner foam rubber type core. I will only use this for realistic black and grey tattoo work because of the thickness. On the plus side is that you get to practice on a arm amd display it. The shape is fairly realistic. For the price it's not bad to get some practice on a cylinder shape instead of flat. Make it abit thicker skin and ship in a cardboard tube and it will get 5 stars for value and usage.

This life sized arm form has tattoo-able fake skin that’s thin and wrapped around a foam base. It does come in folded in half so let it flatten out before trying to tattoo. I like the idea of this and it’s easy to tattoo on but you do need to use vaseline or some kind of glide just like you would tattooing real skin it just requires more wiping. Thicker and more solid fake skin would be cool but it’s a good practice arm especially for sleeves and to display in your booth.

I highly recommend telling whoever you live with that you ordered this. It is quite funny because it was very surprising and concerning to receive this in the mail. It's a bit scary, but it will be great form practice because tattooing on a flat surface is different from a rounded surface. Good for figuring out more preferable positions.

It's pretty decent. Better for practice than just regular fake skin. Helps to learn to deal with the contours of an actual arm instead of just a hard surface. It's big enough to let you practice a bunch of tattoos and be able to display to possible clients as well.
