I Should have bought this holster a LOOOONGG TIME AGO...!!!...I live in New York and was a Cop for 22 years, and I retired about 5 years ago. I still do armed security gigs, some which require to have the weapon exposed in a tactical type black uniform. My duty rig is nice and all broken in, but the holster for my Glock 17 started to fall apart. Hey, I've it for some 20 plus years and it held up all that time...!!....Anyway, so it was time for me to buy another holster which of course I thought I've never have to do again. And of course being a LEFTY, I was limited in holster choices. The FIT is PERFECT, being polymer and NOT LEATHER there is NO BREAK-IN period. The gun just slides right in and locks automatically. This is the same holster that is issued to NYPD. VERY EASY to holster and remove the weapon, once you PRACTICE WITH REMOVING IT, IT BECOMES A BREEZE AND IS LOCKED IN VERY SECURELY., as well reholstering it....stay safe... ... show more

Found a great deal on this level 3 holster. Fits my duty belt and work as expected! Extremely unhappy with Amazon. I purchased this found out my gen 5 wont work in the holster with a light. Amazon will do nothing about it since it’s past my return time. It isn’t mentioned anywhere that a gen 5 won’t fit with a light on it. The holster itself is good besides the gen 5 issue. I’ve never come across an issue with Amazon until today. We order a lot of stuff smh very disappointed with this situation. ... show more

Safariland's 6360 series works great with Glock pistols, the ALS system hooks onto the ejection port and holds the pistol securely in place. Unfortunately it's not the same with this holster. This holster has an extremely tight fit on the Px4 pistol, I had to push in the handgun with concerning force. There's a big tension block under the trigger guard designed to push the pistol's ejection port into hooking with the holster's ALS claw. You cannot loosen this block. Because of the Px4's rotary-barrel system, there isn't much edge for the claw to latch onto, unlike on a Browning-style pistol. I ended up returning this and getting a 6280 series holster for my Px4. The draw is much, much smoother. ... show more
