Been working on a sleeve and thought this may be more convenient then my coil guns. I like this for many reasons especially speed changing out without grabbing or setting up guns. e advantages for both depending on your style and comfort. Pros it's easy to hold and clearly built we'll. It interchanges with other brand tips and can work for both lining or shading without changing the gun. “ATTENTION!” Now that I have it I want to say those peoplen't unable to run there pens have a user issue not product. The reason is the machine will not run if it sense a Shafer needle in the Line plug or vice versus so you need to be sure you read instructions so you don’t post dumb reviews here. Save a little face. Only real Con is that it’s harder for me to see what I’m doing because the cartridges are larger than a cool tip. Its fine though and not enough to dock a star. Overall I give the kit less the ink 5 stars. Far as the ink please throw it out and buy extreme or some other ink. Get shader for tint and the top 10 colors you will use. You can always add more color along the way.

I got this for myself to learn how to do basic, outline tattoos. I love how lightweight the gun itself is. Since I’m not sure what to expect as it’s my first one; I definitely have enjoyed it. The needle doesn’t feel rough or weird on my skin. I feel that I can have a good grip at all times so I don’t have to worry about it getting too heavy if I’m holding it for a long time. I got mine in red and love the color! It comes with its own needles and some ink, practice “skin” and wrap, etc. the “skin” definitely doesn’t prepare you as much for skin contact, but helped me get used to the needle and how to make sure the depth was deep enough to actually make a tattoo. for me, personally, the colors didn’t show up too well on darker skin but showed up okay on lighter toned (this is my biggest peeve). So I had to order ink elsewhere (that’s ok). There are outline & shading needles. I’ve only used the outline needles and have had no issues. If you want to learn how to tattoo and want something simple, easy, and lightweight, this is your gun!

I purchased this is as a gift for my son and he absolutely said it is one of the better quality tattoo kits that he has owned. It has a nice grip and is good for both big or small hands to use. The inks that came with the kit are not the best qualify but not they re not the worst either. My son has done many tattoos around 20 so far with this kit and all have turned out wonderful. I am happy that it came with all the necessary equipment for him to start out with. He has had no issues with any of the equipment or the needles. Will add some pictures to show of the tattoos he created with this kit, showing how good the quality is the use of the kit. .

not bad when it decides to work. when pressing the pedal sometimes the gun won’t work and i have to unplug then plug it back in for it to work for a minute or two before it stops again. the needles don’t stay in my gun and pop out. i’ve only used it three times because of these issues. it’s cheap and would probably be a good starter kit if it worked properly

I was so skeptical at first because of certain comments but I went ahead and made my decision & let's just say it was the best decision ever! The pen is very lightweight and easy to use! It's great for beginners as I'm a beginner myself and my work speaks for itself! The black ink is great!! The colored ink it came with I haven't used due to the reviews of how it's very light or how it's "bad ink" I'm unsure of how true that is so I ordered my own colored ink which is the red! Shipping was quick but ofc amazon is the best for that! The video is my first time using the pen and I was soo impressed with my results! The picture is what I did on myself yesterday and I'm soo in love! This machine has definitely changed my life and makes me want to keep progressing in the tattoo life! I loove it so much. If you're thinking about getting this kit, YOU won't REGRET IT! I hope this review was helpful for you.
