I put this on about 2.5 hours before my 1st sesh large Venom leg piece was going to get started and it is nothing short of amazing. This stuff really works! I used it on my inner arm which is typically a painful spot for tattoos. I couldn't even feel it when my artist did the outlines. I could feel the shading, but it was very minimal pain. I will be using this every time I get tattooed now!!!

i am shocked at how amazingly well this product worked! would highly recommend it to everyone. definitely does not last as long as it says/6 hours, but it does last a few hours for sure! and truly felt nothing at all, completely numb. i will be buying this again

Absolutely recommend! We have use on forearms and chest tattoos. We applied for 2 hours before appointments and was completely numb where applied! Just sat for 3 hours on chest and shoulders with minimal pain!

I wanted to wait before writing my review since I’ve used this numbing cream for multiple tattoo sessions. I have to say—I was pleasantly surprised by how well it works! It significantly reduced the pain, making my tattoo sessions much more bearable. One thing I learned early on was the importance of timing. During my first session, I applied the cream a couple of hours before the appointment, and unfortunately, the numbing effect began to wear off by the second hour of a seven-hour session. Since then, I've switched to applying it right before my tattoo starts, and the difference is night and day. I highly recommend this numbing cream to anyone looking to reduce discomfort during their tattoo sessions—just be sure to apply it right before you begin for the best results.

I understand that everyone's skin absorbs differently. I did a sternum tatoo a few days ago and this stuff held through pretty good. It starts to burn at about 40 mins- which i didn't mind because then I knew it was working). I left mine on about 60 mins. (Test swatch I did 90) and I would say it was completely worn off at the 3 hour mark. So 1 hour to absorb, wipe it off, tattoo for 3 hours). It numbed everywhere I spread the cream. I did lay it on thick and wrapped in Saran wrap for the full 60 mins. So even though not a 6 hour hold, it definitely works!!! I will say it has a strong smell, I think from the lidocaine. I couldn't find the% anywhere in the Amazon description but it says 5% on the box.
