This machine is powerful, has little to zero vibration and feels really comfortable in the hand. The battery is fast charging and lasted about 5 hours during my tattoo session. This kit comes with so many items that it's surprising how low the cost is to get started with tattooing. More practice skins would've been helpful, but those don't cost too much to buy separately. It's really cool that you can get a beginner's kit like this and try out tattooing on your own - obviously, read up on sterilization prior to trying this on actual skin.

I apprenticed as a tattoo artist back in the 90s, the old-fashioned way. I learned hands-on under the watchful eye of an extremely talented pro tattoo artist in a private studio. I never used a starter kit in my life. I have only worked with professional grade tattoo machines, so I have nothing to compare this starter kit with. For someone who is not sure if they want to pursue tattooing as a career choice, this is a perfect way to "test the waters". The kit is simple but includes everything needed to practice the set up and feel of a tattoo machine (on fake skin at least). No intimidation involved. Decent little start up kit.
